Kansas wraps up the season Saturday trying to snap several long losing streaks during a trip to No. 11 Kansas State. The Wildcats, who are tied atop the Big 12 Conference with Baylor and TCU, have outscored the Jayhawks 222-64 in the five straight rivalry wins. Kansas has lost 29 straight true road games, including 25 conference road games.

The Jayhawks have shown signs of life despite a 1-6 record under interim head coach Clint Bowen, but the Wildcats know records don't matter in rivalry matchups. "You see exactly what it means to the people that live here in this state," record-setting Kansas State receiver Tyler Lockett told the media Tuesday. "It's like a second bowl game. Nobody looks down at this game." Kansas State will try to get its ground game going - after gaining just 1 rushing yard in a win against West Virginia - against a Jayhawks team that allowed 510 yards to Oklahoma last week.
