Vancouver Canucks vs Vegas Golden Knights Match Player Stats On Nov 13, 2021

Evgenii Dadonov had two goals and an assist as the Vegas Golden Knights scored four times in the third period to pull away for a 7-4 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday night in Las Vegas.

Jonathan Marchessault scored twice, Jake Leschyshyn and Reilly Smith each had a goal and an assist, and Brayden McNabb also scored a goal for Vegas which won its third straight game.

Shea Theodore, Alex Pietrangelo and Chandler Stephenson each added two assists, and Robin Lehner made 39 saves for Vegas.

Nils Hoglander had two goals and an assist for his first career three-point game, and J.T. Miller and Tanner Pearson also scored goals for Vancouver. Thatcher Demko finished with 32 saves.

Vancouver scored twice in the first 5:56 of the opening period while taking a 2-0 lead.

Miller got the first goal with a wrist shot from the left circle through Lehner's pads for his seventh goal of the season. Pearson followed 2:47 later with his second goal of the campaign when Conor Garland's shot deflected into the net off his skate.

But Vegas rebounded to score the next three goals to take a 3-2 lead.

Dadonov started the comeback with a 5-on-3 power play goal with 14 seconds left in the first period, backhanding in a rebound of a Stephenson shot for his fourth goal of the season.

Smith tied it 2-2 at the 5:50 mark of the second period with his third goal in three games, firing in a wrist shot from the left circle past Demko's glove side.

McNabb then gave the Golden Knights their first lead with his second goal of the season, also with a wrist shot past Demko's glove side.

Vancouver tied it 3-3 late in the second period when Hoglander shoveled in a rebound of his own shot.

The two teams then traded goals early in the third period. Leschyshyn knocked in a crossing pass from Dadonov for his first career NHL goal and Hoglander tied it just 52 seconds later with his fourth goal of the season, knocking in a rebound of a Tyler Myers slap shot.

After Demko was called for a delay of game penalty for knocking the goal off, Marchessault put Vegas back ahead for good, 5-4, with a power play goal, firing a wrist shot from the right circle over Demko's right shoulder. Dadonov made it 6-4 when he finished a two-on-one with Mark Stone for his fifth goal of the season, and Marchessault finished the scoring with his seventh goal in six games.
