Scotiabank Saddledome

Last Meeting ( Feb 13, 2020 ) Calgary 6, Anaheim 0

The Calgary Flames have struggled mightily of late at Scotiabank Saddledome, dropping five in a row (0-4-1) and 10 of their last 13 games (3-8-2) to lose the opportunity for points in a congested Pacific Division. The Flames look to get back on track in front of their home fans on Monday afternoon when they host the Anaheim Ducks.

Calgary was unable to build off its positive 3-1-0 road trip against Pacific Division rivals on Saturday, matching a season high in goals allowed in an 8-4 shellacking by Chicago. "It (stinks), especially at home," Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk told reporters. "We want to make this place a real tough place to play and for some reason right now we're just not having success." The Ducks were blown out of their own building by the Flames in a 6-0 shellacking on Thursday before rebounding three days later with a decisive 5-1 victory versus Vancouver. Adam Henrique tallied twice on Sunday to reach the 20-goal mark for the fifth time in seven seasons as Anaheim improved to 6-1-2 in its last nine road contests.

TIME: 4 p.m. ET. TV: Prime Ticket, Sportsnet West

ABOUT THE DUCKS (24-27-7): Derek Grant scored for the fourth time in seven games this month to boost his career-high goal total to 14. John Gibson, who yielded four first-period goals against Calgary on Thursday, atoned for his performance by making 37 saves versus Vancouver. Veteran Ryan Miller, who owns a 10-7-1 career record against Calgary, likely will make his second straight appearance versus the club after turning aside 14 of 16 shots in relief of Gibson on Thursday.

ABOUT THE FLAMES (30-24-6): Elias Lindholm has returned from the All-Star break with a flourish, piecing together a career high-tying 10-game point streak (seven goals, five assists) after scoring twice for the second time in three outings Saturday. The 25-year-old Swede joined Hall of Famer Doug Gilmour in becoming the second member of the Flames to record a point streak of at least 10 games in his first two seasons with the franchise. Lindholm, who has matched his career-high goal total of 27 (2018-19), tallied for the second time in 13 meetings with Anaheim in Thursday's romp.

OVERTIME

1. Calgary C Mikael Backlund scored in a 2-1 win at Anaheim on Oct. 20 and tallied twice versus the Ducks on Thursday.

2. Anaheim's postponed home game against St. Louis will be played on March 11, the NHL announced Sunday. The initial game was postponed after Blues D Jay Bouwmeester collapsed on the bench during the first period on Tuesday.

3. Flames C Mark Jankowski, who tallied twice versus the Ducks on Thursday, has five goals and an assist in his last eight games.

PREDICTION: Flames 4, Ducks 2
