Carolina has just five goals this postseason, and Konecny spent the bulk of his minutes matched up against Carolina’s shutdown line centered by Jordan Staal in Game 1. Konecny and linemates Christian Dvorak and Denver Barkey were only on the ice for 0.15 expected goals at 5-on-5, and I also value Carolina sporting the best penalty-kill percentage in the playoffs.
Frederik Andersen u1.5 Goals Against (+145)
The Hurricanes held the Flyers to just four high-danger scoring chances and 1.85 expected goals in front of red-hot goalie Frederik Andersen, and he turned away all 19 shots for his second shutout of the postseason. Andersen is up to an incredible .961 SV% with 10.85 GSAx through five games, and he’s only been beaten three times at five-on-five.

Jack Eichel o0.5 Goals Scored (+175)
Eichel was held to a single goal during Round 1 despite racking up 18 shots, 2.09 expected goals and nine high-danger scoring chances. The Ducks allowed a healthy 3.5 goals per game during the opening round, and Eichel is cemented into a go-to offensive role and sports an active five-game point streak.
The Ducks finished Round 1 with the most shots and third most attempts per 60 minutes at five-on-five, and I’m expecting them to be firing away again in Game 1. While it was a so-so first round from Hart overall, he posted a .910 save percentage and 1.35 goals saved above expected on home ice and also stopped 22 of 23 shots with 1.65 GSAx in the series clincher Friday.

Brock Nelson o0.5 Goals Scored (+305)
Brock Nelson had plenty of good looks in Game 1. He generated six scoring chances, trailing only Kadri and Ryan Hartman – both of whom found the back of the net.
Nelson is a plus-finisher and the Wild bleed shots to centers, making him a standout value play at such a high price.
