San Jose’s superstar center is off to a slow start by his own standards. Even so, he's still averaging well over a point per game while leading the Sharks in xG and sitting second in goals.
Ottawa has gotten .837 goaltending since Ullmark went down and neither goaltender is capable of providing even average netminding.

I see value on the San Jose Sharks to 49%.
The Ottawa Senators are 7-1-0 in Linus Ullmark starts and 1-4-1 without him.
The Senators own an .837 team save percentage since Ullmark went down, with both Sam Ersson and Jonas Johansson bleeding goals.
The Sharks have their flaws but they can score, sitting tied for 15th in goals per 60.

Dobson has been firing the puck at a heightened rate since Suzuki went down to injury, trying to solve a struggling power play. He's averaging three shots per game over the last two weeks and has hit the Over in four of his last five at the Bell Centre.

If Matthews is going to continue to feast, we're going to continue to cash alongside him with a full belly. We're up close to five units backing the star center, and in a game that's ready to feature a ton of offense, he'll be at the center of it. Matthews has already registered 35 medium-danger shot attempts this season, ranking third in the NHL. With a release as lethal as his, give him an inch of space and he'll make you pay.
The instant chemistry between Gavin McKenna and Matthews was on full display against the Seattle Kraken on Wednesday, with the rookie becoming the youngest Leaf in franchise history to record three points in a single game. Not bad. With Kirill Marchenko sidelined, expect the 18-year-old to capitalize on his opportunity once again against a Cancucks team incapable of keeping the puck out of the net.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have just one win on the road this season and encounter the Dallas Stars having lost three of their last five. The NHL's best defense in terms of goals against per game (2.23) and shots against per game (22.1) takes on a Jackets squad that ranks 29th in goals, T-27th in shooting percentage, and 25th in shots on goal.
This game also features the Stars' league-best penalty kill (93.5%) against the Jackets' 30th-ranked power play (13.3%).

Lehkonen has 10 goals in 13 games, ranking tied for fourth in the NHL, and gets a ton of volume on the first line. The matchup ain't bad, too. Colorado defeated Calgary 7-3 earlier this season, and the Flames are playing the second half of a back-to-back after facing Seattle on Friday. Lehkonen's finish this year, top-line role, and Colorado's offensive firepower make him one of the game's most interesting scoring threats.

Meanwhile, the Avs score the second-most goals per game at 4.15; the Flames give up close to four goals a game. I'm not a math major here, but the odds are tilting in our direction for a lopsided affair. As with all moneyline odds, the team with the minus sign (-) is the favorite, while the side with the plus sign (+) is the underdog.
Betting $100 on Edmonton at -130 would net you $176 in winnings if they win the game, $76 of profit plus your initial $100 wager. Conversely, if you bet on Florida and they win, you get $210: $110 in profit plus your initial $100 bet.
The puck line is the NHL's version of the spread, where each team is given a certain number of goals to either win or lose by. Unlike the NFL or the NBA, the NHL spread doesn't typically change from 1.5 for each side. The spread is designed to make betting on the favorite more enticing.

The favorite, Edmonton at -1.5, would need to win by at least two goals for the bet to cash. If Edmonton wins by two or more goals, in other words, "covers the bet," you'd get $191 in winnings instead of $176 by taking them on the moneyline.
There are two ways for the underdog, Florida at +1.5, to "cover" a +1.5 puck line bet. They can lose by a single goal or win outright to cash. The odds are shorter, but you have options on this bet.
With a total bet, you're wagering on the total number of goals scored by both teams. You aren't backing any single side to win.

Sportsbooks will set a line for the game. In this case, it's 5.5 goals. Your job is to figure out if Edmonton and Florida will score more or fewer than 5.5 goals, not counting the shootout.
If you see a line that's an even number, like 6.0, those bets can end in a push where your wager is refunded if the game ends at exactly six goals.
