CFL matchups are determined based on a pre-set formula that ensures a balanced schedule. Each CFL team plays 14 games in a season: six games against divisional opponents, one home and one away; four games against teams from the other division, two at home and two away; and an additional four games against other teams, following the league's rules for the current season. The schedule aims to ensure fairness and competitive balance.
Injuries can greatly impact CFL matchups and betting odds. When a key player is injured, a team's chances of winning often decrease, which can adjust the betting odds in favor of the uninjured team.
The average score of a CFL game varies by season, but typically, teams score on average between 20 to 25 points per game. This can result in a combined score of around 40 to 50 points per game for both teams.
