The Las Vegas Super Bowl Party scene has something for everyone on game day

Super Bowl Parties have exploded in Las Vegas over the past few years. The parties have gone from a way to guarantee a seat to watch the game for a small price to full-on parties that may include a couch, food, drink, games, and more.

My sense of history isn’t very good. As I understand it though, there was a day where you could walk into a Las Vegas casino on Super Bowl Sunday and easily watch The Big Game. That hasn’t been the case for the past 10 years but it almost feels like Las Vegas is coming full circle.

You can find the Super Bowl on just about every TV in a casino when the game is being played. You'll probably be able to find a seat at a Three Card Poker table and just watch the game. Unlike blackjack, you don’t have to pay close attention to your cards when you play 3CP. This will allow some action in front of you and whatever action you have on the football game.

You might even be able to snag a seat at a casino bar or just stand anywhere to watch the game fairly easily. Yes, the Super Bowl is on TV everywhere in Las Vegas casinos. However, demand to sit greatly exceeds the number of free seats available.

The number of seats in a sportsbook have always been limited. If you want a general admission seat at most sportsbooks you’ll have to arrive well before kickoff. An hour before the game is probably the latest you'll find an open seat in a book.

Make sure your bets are made before you sit. People looking for a seat on Super Bowl Sunday don’t take too kindly when someone is holding a seat. Pro-tip, sign up for an app and place your prop bets and make in game wagers from your seat.

A number of sportsbooks are reserving some, or all, of their seats for guests willing to pay for the right to sit. Some sportsbooks like The Venetian reserve almost all seats for guests wagering on the game. Meanwhile, The Mirage has plenty of general admission seats alongside reserved couches. It's a fair combination.

A guaranteed seat at the Caesars Palace sportsbook will cost $350 (plus 18% gratuity) if purchased in advance. You get three drink tickets and a seat for this price. A host might be able to help offset the price, this is just an example.

Free Super Bowl Parties In Las Vegas

Super Bowl Parties have exploded in Las Vegas over the past few years. The parties have gone from a way to guarantee a seat to watch the game for a small price to full-on parties that may include a couch, food, drink, games, and more. Obviously, the better location and more offered by the party the more expensive it will be.

Let’s take a look at some of the free Las Vegas Super Bowl parties first.

South Point

This casino has a massive ballroom that is open for the Super Bowl. Most seats are first come, first served. Some guests may be able to reserve seats with a host or for a small price. Food and drinks are cheap and you’ll find some of the best odds in all of Las Vegas.

The D/Downtown Las Vegas Events Center

There’s no entry fee but you’ll have to pay for food and drinks. This is a party where you can reserve tables and couches if you have a large group. The reservation fee for tables goes towards a food and drink minimum, so you’re not just paying for the right to guarantee a seat. There’s no sportsbook here, so you’ll have to place wagers at the William Hill sportsbook across the street at The D.

There are other free Super Bowl parties in Las Vegas but these are two great locations. Let’s take a look at some of the Super Bowl parties in Las Vegas that will guarantee you a seat and more. These will cost you a few bucks.

Ellis Island (Off-Strip): This party is $125 for a guaranteed seat and all you can eat and drink. This includes craft beer made on site, BBQ, and they’re roasting a pig. If you’re not familiar, Ellis Island is about half a block behind Bally’s.

Virgils (The Linq): They have different packages but the best might be $40 per person for a massive pig out dinner. Booze is another $75 but you’re probably better off just buying food and paying for drinks.

Tao (The Venetian): This party costs $150 for an impressive buffet that includes kobe sliders and three hours of open bar at one of the most popular nightclubs in Las Vegas.

Sapphire (Off-Strip): Packages are $75, $150, or more at the world’s largest strip club. Price includes transportation, entry and a buffet. Any adult entertainment is extra.

Silverton (Off-Strip): These parties are $50 and $100 for a restaurant crawl which includes beer (or liquor) and food from three different restaurants. The price difference is based on the kind of booze you choose.

Casa di Amore (Westgate): $170 for all day buffet and open bar. The price for this party goes up every year but it has some of the best Italian food you’ll find at a Super Bowl party.

There are multiple parties at every casino and way too many for one person to keep track of. The “VegasBigGame” group on Facebook is a great resource for watching the game in Las Vegas if you’re looking for more information.
