Cleveland Cavaliers vs Boston Celtics series odds

The Boston Celtics opened the Eastern Conference semifinal with a decisive 25-point win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Celtics look to reach the Eastern Conference finals for the third consecutive season and are even heavier favorites after Tuesday's dominant showing.

  • Cleveland Cavaliers to win: +1,800
  • Cavaliers in 5: +20,000
  • Cavaliers in 6: +5,000
  • Cavaliers in 7: +5,500
  • Boston Celtics to win: -8,000
  • Celtics in 4: +110
  • Celtics in 5: +145
  • Celtics in 6: +700
  • Celtics in 7: +1,200

Indiana Pacers vs New York Knicks series odds

Jalen Brunson's scoring output in Game 2 wasn't as robust as his final line in Game 1 vs. the Indiana Pacers, but the New York Knicks guard still scored 29 points in 32 minutes as Donte DiVincenzo and OG Anunoby each scored 28 while Josh Hart and Isaia Hartenstein crushed glass with 27 rebounds between the two of them. However, Anunoby exited Game 2 with a hamstring injury, leaving his status in doubt going forward, helping explain why New York's odds to win aren't even more in their favor.

  • Indiana Pacers to win: +340
  • Pacers in 6: +800
  • Pacers in 7: +650
  • New York Knicks to win: -470
  • Knicks in 4: +550
  • Knicks in 5: +195
  • Knicks in 6: +420
  • Knicks in 7: +390

Dallas Mavericks vs Oklahoma City Thunder series odds

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks opened their Western Conference semifinal with an evenly-played opening quarter. Then, OKC took over, ultimately winning 117-95 as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 29 points with nine rebounds and nine assists. A rather pedestrian outing from Luka Doncic (19-9-6) — for him, anyway — didn't help. The Mavs will need to adjust in Game 2 if they have any hope of competing.

  • Dallas Mavericks to win: +194
  • Mavericks in 5: +1,300
  • Mavericks in 6: +500
  • Mavericks in 7: +600
  • Oklahoma City Thunder to win: -245
  • Thunder in 4: +600
  • Thunder in 5: +290
  • Thunder in 6: +470
  • Thunder in 7: +430

Minnesota Timberwolves vs Denver Nuggets series odds

The Denver Nuggets face a challenging postseason contrasted to their triumphant run last year, now in an 0-2 hole to the Minnesota Timberwolves and seemingly lost in the series. The Wolves completely decimated Denver in Game 2's second quarter, amassing a 30-point halftime lead they wouldn't relinquish. Minnesota now heads back home, where Rudy Gobert awaits, and is paying +110 to sweep the defending champs out of these playoffs.

  • Minnesota Timberwolves to win: -750
  • Timberwolves in 4: +110
  • Timberwolves in 5: +480
  • Timberwolves in 6: +360
  • Timberwolves in 7: +1,300
  • Denver Nuggets to win: +490
  • Denver Nuggets in 6: +1,900
  • Denver Nuggets in 7: +650

How to bet on the NBA Playoffs

There are many ways to bet on the NBA Playoffs beyond each individual game.

NBA futures

The most common way to bet on the NBA Playoffs is through the various futures markets offered at basketball betting sites.

From odds to win the NBA finals to odds for which team will win a series, futures make up the bulk of NBA playoff odds that aren't related to a specific game.

Most of these markets are offered at plus money, but odds to win the Finals and series tend to shorten as the playoffs progress. Teams with the best odds to win the NBA Finals are usually the favorites to win their respective series and usually carry a heavy vig. For example, the Philadelphia 76er are heavy favorites against the Brooklyn Nets at -900. That means bettors would have to wager $900 to win $100.

Bettors may be able to find value in betting on the favorite to win a series in a specific number of games. For example, one could bet on the Phoenix Suns to win their series against the L.A. Clippers in five games at +230, meaning a winning wager would net $230 for every $100 wagered.
