We have horse racing tips and free picks for today's racing card, including betting action at Gulfstream Park and Oaklawn Park. Our horse racing analyst Monique Vág shares her five favorite horse racing bets for Saturday, April 25, which start at 2:46 p.m. ET. **video

GULFSTREAM PARK, RACE 5

7 Furlongs, Purse: $45,000 Maiden, Post: 2:46 p.m. ET

No. 1 DREAMS OF TOMORROW (10/1): Should offer a nice price at post time given that this is a first time starter making his racing debut. Although the rail post can often prove tricky for younger horses especially, I think this colt could be positioned well to win first asking.

Trainer Claude McGaughey has had quite a bit of success with first timers, along with his sire who is clicking at a 16 percent rate. I'll be taking a shot on this horse to hit the board at a nice price.

OAKLAWN PARK, RACE 8

6 Furlongs, Purse: $62,000 Allowance, Post: 5:14 p.m. ET

No. 5 NOMIZAR (9/2): There is quite a bit of early speed in here and horses likely to be vying for the front end. This could set up very well for a filly like this who has been at her best working out trips from a little bit off the pace. She enters today in good form and is likely to benefit the most from potential faster early fractions.

OAKLAWN PARK, RACE 9

6 Furlongs, Purse: $100,000 Bachelor Stakes, Post: 5:45 p.m. ET

No. 7 EIGHT RINGS (5/2): Makes his 2020 debut versus stakes company in a very deep field where he returns to the sprinting distance. Today he also gets the luxury of dropping in class out of the Grade 1 ranks to try his luck versus a much easier field, many of which are lacking invaluable stakes experience. Expect this colt to be put into play early, and although the price will be short at post, expecting big things out of this runner.

GULFSTREAM PARK, RACE 11

7 Furlongs, Purse: $48,000, Optional Claiming $75k, Post: 5:57 p.m. ET

No. 9 YORKTON (9/2): Makes his debut for new trainer Graham Motion after narrowly missing last time out on only his third try racing on the dirt. Today he drops in class and gets the luxury of competing against easier. I would expect him to attempt to work out a similar trip to his most recent, most likely getting put into play early in an attempt to wire the field.

OAKLAWN PARK, RACE 11

1 Mile and 1/16th, Purse: $60,000 Maiden, Post: 6:47 p.m. ET

No. 6 AZTEC EMPIRE (5/1): Looked good last time out adding blinkers and racing over a track listed as "sloppy". Today he gets another try versus similar company are failing last time out as the race's favorite. He has shown some early speed in his two most recent efforts, and he draws a great post here today to be involved in the pace scenario early. With quite a few in here which will be overbet, take a shot on this runner who will almost surely offer a good price at post time.
