Charles Schwab Challenge favorites
Spieth was the betting favorite to win the Charles Schwab Challenge at +900. Spieth had a great tournament, but stumbled late and ended up finishing as the runner-up to Kokrak at 12-under. He was coming off a T30 finish at the PGA Championship, but had three straight Top-10 finishes before that, including a win at the Valero Texas Open and a T3 at the Masters.
Second on the odds board was Justin Thomas (+1,100), the No. 2 in the Official World Golf Ranking. Thomas placed a disappointing T40 a week after a missed cut at Kiawah Island, and has placed outside of the Top 10 in six consecutive events.
Collin Morikawa entered the tournament at third on the odds board +1,400, a year after losing in a playoff to Daniel Berger, who was fourth at +1,600. Abraham Ancer, Tony Finau, and Patrick Reed were tied for fifth at +1,800. Morikawa and Ancer had the best showings out of this group, both finishing at T14.

How to bet on PGA Tour odds
The most popular way to bet on golf is by simply picking the winner, which is also referred to as an outright. There are plenty of other ways to wager, however. Some of the more popular markets include head-to-head betting, where sportsbooks pair up two golfers and you simply choose who you think will have the lower score over the course of the weekend or for one round only. Similarly, there are also 3-way betting markets (choose the best golfer among three choices) and group betting (choose the best golfer amongst a group of players).
Other ways to wager include Top-5/Top-10/Top-20 finish, top golfer by nationality, to make the cut/to not make the cut, and the leader after each round. Then, of course, there's the popular prop bet of whether or not there will be a hole in one at the tournament.
