Editor's note: The 2023 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix has been cancelled due to flooding in Northern Italy. The extreme weather has devastated the region and has resulted in the evacuation of thousands of local residents. The Grand Prix was scheduled to be the sixth race of the Formula 1 season.
After a fun-filled weekend in Miami, the F1 universe heads to Italy for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix on May 21.

Emilia Romagna Grand Prix 2023 pre-qualifying favorites
Max Verstappen (-250)
Max Verstappen has been the racer to beat for quite some time and that will remain the case until further notice.
Three wins and two runner-up finishes to his teammate means the back-to-back Drivers' Champion is getting the most out of this dominant Red Bull. Oh, and he's also the back-to-back champion here in Imola.
Sergio Perez (+330)
If it's not Verstappen, it's his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez.
He's in possession of the two other race wins and has finished runner-up in two of the other three, making up for four 1-2 Red Bull finishes in five races this season.
Fernando Alonso (+1,200)
There's consistency... and then there's what Fernando Alonso is doing in 2023.
He's logged five straight third-place finishes for 75 points and is also sitting third in the Drivers' standings. He's the best of the rest but lacks the pace needed to truly challenge the Red Bulls at this juncture of the season.
