Its typical hopkins to get under the opponents skin. Although I don't think it'll help too much in this fight considering Pascal is wild anyway but maybe he'll burn up his stamina faster.

im liking b hop hes earned my respect by the way he beat down pavlik .pavlik gym is on my street i followed him his whole career he is one bad dude never seen someone get  beat down like that only thing that came good from that fight for pavlik is that he didn't get ko;d   these older vetrens know all the tricks and will ruin a young guys good record    letsssssssssssssss goooooooooooooooooooooooo     B-HOP  5 units for me

will fight someone who can beat pascal?
pascal is young promising boxer in quebec,  his career is on the line
they brought hopkins which is big name, but all the math was done
hopkins will not KO anyone for now hopkins winning in a decision is probably none to slim, perfect fight set up agaisnt a big name without Ko punch but good defense, good for the show for pascal and quebec.
by the way pascal is a good boxer. he will be in states for bigger matches.

he hasn't had much of a crowd pleasing style since he stopped Trinidad but I wouldn't say he sucks and is ruining the sport. His tactics obviously has allowed him to fight all the way up to 45 years old.

Everyone including me agrees that he is boring but very smart in managing his game. All games he lost were not clear, but most of which were like he got them. He is one of the most difficult boxers for rivals to win.

 

But I think..B-hop will be a sacrifice in this game.

cuz he is NOT a canadian. And He is NOT so aggressive.

These two things are the reasons that he won't be able to win this game.

 

ps: His age will not be important in this game. He will be energetic enough in this game.

-B-hop will be still good at this game, if you are a boxing mania.

-B-hop will be still boring at this game, if you are a usuall boxing fan or beginner.

-Pascal will not be able to handle this game.

-B-hop will teach boxing lesson to pascal

I agree with much said here in that Hopkins will fight his fight, frustrate Pascal and it will be very close.  In the end though, Pascal will win a decision, allbeit a shaky one. 

Might play Hopkins + points or simply the OVER.

Hopkins weakness has always been fast handed athletic guys

Taylor, Calzaghe, Roy Jones(young roy) and now Pascal is gonna make him look old

You are correct in saying Roy Jones has problems with fast handed fighters. The thing that is different with Pascal is that he is so wild and sloppy and believe has stamina issues.

Sometimes I just don't get it. Pascal came out of the dressing room looking disturbed.

I think Hopkins got robbed tonight, but after years of his bullshit it couldn't happen to a better guy.

Pascal should check his water bottle. Something wasn't right in his corner. Just my opinion of course.

Lets see the last time he was an underdog was vs. Pavlik. What did he do to Pavlik? He gave him the boxing lesson of his life. B-Hop was a significant underdog in that fight. The time before that he was a underdog vs Antonio Tarver. Everyone thought Hopkins was nuts to jump straight from middleweight to light heavyweight. What did Hopkins do? His next opponent, Pascal, is a much different fighter than Pavlik and Tarver. He has very fast hands and starts out pretty fast. His only loss was to Froch who we all know has very slow hands. What Froch did was bully him and roughed him up. It threw him off his game. Hopkins will try to rough up Pascal and I do see Pascal doing well the first few rounds but as the fight goes on Hopkins will pull away and take the decision.

I'm not saying put all your money on Hopkins. I just see a lot of value in taking Hopkins +225.

Happy Thanksgiving and hope everyone makes some money for the rest of the year.

Oh yeah the only thing that really concerns me is that the fight is in Pascal's hometown...but I think Hopkins can win this pretty clearly that even the judges can't rob him.

maybe the pressure got to him. Maybe he used up all his stamina getting hyped up for the fight. Pascal doesn't seem to have good stamina like I've been saying.

Hopkins showed he really is a legend tonight
