Congrats to all the Diaz backers!! I certainly felt that Diaz won the fight and although Morales made it 12, it is painfully clear he is not the Morales of old... just an old Morales!
The Marquez loss sucks, but like a few others said, you cannot be too upset with such a brutal battle. I think if Marquez would have boxed more he could have got the stoppage from the horrible state of Vasquez's face, but in the end it was still a decent night, going 1-1.
Well boys, this will probably be my last meaningful post on covers. I will be sure to stop back by when I find a new home and invite you all to stop by and become regular contributors. Sorry we
did not leave on a 2-0 mark, but at least we did not go 0-2

Lopez is the one who caught my attention 2nite. He had that heavy-handed cocked look to his stance, just waiting to unload his Left. I don't quite know if he's cut of Championship timber or not? But he has some legit Voltage, he's a Koufax, & he's pretty strong looking for 12o.
Bigeiiii, you were impressed by Lopez? That was the worst I have seen him look. He looked content to fall into the pace of the fight that Dianzo was trying to set and never really pressed the action. He also looked open for counters all night. It would have gone the distance if not for the big gush of blood out of that cut in the 10th. Lopez looked content to make it a sparring session, I thought he would try to make a statement tonight in his biggest co-feature to date.

"...if Marquez would have boxed more he could have got the stoppage from the horrible state of Vasquez's face," -BOXEO-
That's an A+ quality sweet-science statement. I could not agry more. Some might call RM's choice a gutty one, or tough, or some like statement inferring a macho'ismo oriented compliment. I'd call it a non-winning one. i.e incorrect
Let time be your ally & shoot for the TKO, it was more than possibly in the offering. Maybe even likely, given the time remaining & enough touches on those cuts.
"Sí." on Lopez Fbs. He was stronger than I expected. I never know just how legit some very impressive KO ratios are until later on in a guys Career. This guy looks like he really does carry legit Voltage. I kinda expect Lopez has a high ceiling. Given, as you called it..."worst I have seen him look."; kinda nite, that ends in a TKO. That's not an awful nite to me.

Yeah, I actually profited from the TKO, but it was lucky; all of a sudden an earlier cut opened up and the ref stopped the fight on the advice of the doctor. It would have gone the distance. I didn't think Lopez showed hardly any legit power last night, not saying he doesn't have it. It may have just been a bad night, but last night was really his chance to make an electric statement. Are you sure that you watched the fight?
Looks like you chose the right chalk to team up with Diaz in your parlay, nice calls.
