24/7 Mayweather-Mosley HBO (Comments)

Nothing short of what was expected. Mayweather needling Mosley. Mosley just keeping quiet and doing his thing. I remember the 24/7 MAYWEATHER/MARQUEZ #1, and Mayweather made a statement while showing off his house, "The difference between me and everyone else, my shit is paid for, what about yours!"  Now I find it ironic that the IRS filed a $6,165,735 lien against Mayweather for unpaid incomes taxes on Oct. 9 in Clark County, Nevada. So at the time Oscar paid off Mayweather's debt. In a press conference Mayweather claimed it was no one's business, but on 24/7 he brags how much money he has. I know 24/7 is marketing, but I enjoy the irony in Mayweather.

I'd like to hear some feedback from boxing fans about what they feel about the trash talk, the upcoming fight, etc. Let's get it on!

unbearable to watch. couldnt get thru 5 minutes this time of the Mayweathers talking their bullshit. Havent watched

nc1capper: You really analyzed the fight in that fashion? I believe Mosley is the one fighter out there to cause difficulties for Mayweather. Mosley is a natural counter puncher with speed and enough power to make an impact. If you have a detailed breakdown of your analysis it would be appreciated, unless your going with your experience and just see it as a tactical defense fight for Mayweather.

The Fight Camp show on SHO for the Super 6 is so much better than this 24/7 crap.  It's all contrived nonsense now.  I haven't watched it since the first one.

DannoDanger: Agreed on the nonsense. The program for the Super 6 maybe a better program, but to call it Super 6 considering the caliber of fighters, that would be a stretch!

It is nice that they did take 6 solid contenders and made a nice schedule and promotion. Unfortunately, they didn't do it with elite fighters, but at that point there is to much money involved and politics. So they take a division with little attention and put together a nice promotion and fight schedule that helps bring attention to that weight division and boxing as a whole.

They are certainly the elite of that division.  Obviously Taylor didn't belong, and Bute is missing, but the other five are top dogs.  Going into the tournament, four of them were undefeated and Kessler had one loss (to Calzaghe).  I'd say that's an excellent group. 

Most of these fighters had yet to fight a real opponent. Froch & Abraham won by KO in the 12th (the Taylor stamina problem). Miranda beat Allan Green, but lost to Abraham twice, lost to Ward as well as losing to Bute and Pavlik. The most exciting fighter Bute isn't in the Super 6. They all have padded records, not to the extent of total weak opposition, but never really tested, and if they were maybe it was oly one fight.

I believe they chose the six right guys, yes Jermaine was questionable but he was doing well in the fight.

Realize BUTE got a gift at home against Anrdade he was knocked out and the ref gave him so much extra time.

Yes he won the rematch with a nice KO, but fact is he fights only in Canada and no way in hell will he fight in another Country like Germany or Denmark, he won't even fight in the states!

I believe Jermaine was the right choice over Allan Green, given that if Jermaine got Ko'd again Allan Green would step in ( and it happened).

Not like Allan green was winning the super six anyways.

Allan green has talent but I question his chin and stamina, he lost to Miranda which was his only legit fight, so I can see why they skipped him.

There is no one else at 168, Pavlik is a BUM if he thinks 160 was hard 168 would wipe the floor with him.

Bute was coming off a controversial fight where he got KO'd and got home cooking.

Allan Green lost to Miranda who lost to Abraham twice and Ward badly.. so why would he even be put in.

I believe Allan green was left out because of that one fight, (Miranda) he stepped up and LOST.

If he didn't lose that fight he would have been in there.

This is a great Tournament cannot wait for tomorrow night's fight!
