Khan fought a perfect fight. Hurt him early, and got up on points, and most importantly, didn't get caught. Well done.

No sir. Fight must go 1:30 into round 11 for that wager to cash.

ya at my book I had numerous totals to choose from 4.5 to 10.5,  I took the over 10.5 as +225 spoke to me and lost it,  but only 25 percent of what I had already won on louisville -3, so all in all a good day, and nonito, dominates and older but still very respectable guy like arce, very good performance

it looks as if khan is pursuing ortiz presumably at 147.

for a guy with no punch resistance he has balls and courage.

I agree with ya there, even after being koed 2 times, in his last fight he was right in their fighting, he does have a lot of heart, even against garcia the ref stopped it, he would of kept going until he was out cold and this is they way it should be, as for an ortiz fight, the strength difference would be huge, I have never thought that highly of ortiz and obviously khan does not use his height and reach as he should, so the only outcome I see is ortiz by ko, even though overall I think khan is better, stylistically I favor ortiz in this one

agreed, he somewhat reminds me of terry norris.

the heart of amir khan is everything that is good about boxing.

wbc champion saul canelo alvarez, until he finally steps up and fights a legit, in-his-prime 154 as opposed to washed-up ww's or jww's, is everything thats wrong about boxing.

I concur, I mentioned in another post that I believed that alvarez was one of the most overratted guys in the game, a floyd vs alvarez fight is pretty much a done deal as both are on the same card in may,so if they both win then we will get to see floyd expose the much overrated alvarez in september,

i believe canelo has as much chance as beating all the other six contenders in the stacked jmm division as floyd really is not a true 154 and canelo wins on bullying people. alvarez reminds me of tommy morrison except he doesnt have the one punch power and is still unproven re: endurance and punch resistance(tommy had a suspect chin but solid punch resistance).

i think canelo at best goes 3-3 against the top 6 in his division even with the help of the gbp judges.

truly horrible what he and dlh have done in the last two years with the sww belt.

they have made a mockery of the wbc.

Khan's a guy I'm generally going to look to bet on, especially against someone like Ortiz. I don't think he really has a GLASS jaw, as we now are beginning to realize that there's no shame in going down to Garcia.  More like a porcelain jaw. I like pretty much every other aspect of his game, so if he can protect that jaw even somewhat better, there could be a lot of value in him going forward. He's just rash by nature, so there's always going to be a chance for disaster, but hopefully Hunter can keep it to a minimum.
