Kinda surprised there hasn't been a thread about the Showbox fight this Friday

Tarver opened up around -190 a few days ago and is testin' the heavyweight waters.....

I was just getting ready to post about this. I'm in for about 5 units to win 2. It seems that Tarver is attempting to line up a fight with David Haye if he can sell himself as a legit heavyweight.

Mason Dixon seems like free money here.

Thanks for posting     I didn't bet him @ -190 so probably won't now unless he looks in TOP shape at the weigh-ins

Agreed on the fight with Haye.  Winner gets a Klit

Did you see the weigh in?  He looks AWFUL.  His body reminds me of James Toney.

Tarver is -210 at 5dimes.  I like a few things tonight, but Tarver is not one of them.  Not to say he won't win, but I won't be putting money on him.  Good luck if you do.

I've seen Nagy fight before and imo the fix is in. I haven't put in the launch codes as of yet, but its lookin like Tarver will christen my return.

The over 91/2 is also a little pricey but neither one of these guys go for the knock-out

Already locked in Tarver so I'll be waiting for  SHOWTIME

I've thought about it some more, and I think I'm going to bet Tarver now.  Even bloated and old, this should be a layup for him.

Too many angles for Tarver to win and none for Nagy imho. Nagy needs a ko.

hey guys quick question.  Anybody know a good website i can use to watch the fight i saw one called boxingchannel.com is this any good before i pay  for it. Any info would be apreciated. Also i dont see  any way tarver doesnt win just to throw my two cents in.

Glad to see Porter at a lower class. Dirrell is in the ring, his brother is fighting on the card but doesn't seem to be televised? Anyway, after seeing a few of Porters fights it was obvious to me that he fight lower. Curious to see how he looks...

I thought the same thing when I watched Porter previously.  He needs to fight lower.

Can someone post some round by round updates on the tarver card..im visiting family this weekend and im starting to miss my cable package..

 

Could really use some updates on tarver..seeing i bet him huge when the yankees went down 5-0..

I was a bit worried in the first round, Tarver did land a few lefts but nothing telling. Into round 2, seems like he's relaxed now and in a rhythm. The thing thats unique about Tarver is he las a lazy style anyway. Kind of steps around never reallyt exerting himself. What I'm getting at is the super long lay-off won't effect a Tarver style as much as others.

I think the judges scores are 3-0 Tarver.

Boring fight thru four...tarver with a couple  nice counter shots ....tarvers last fight was at 175 lbs tonite 221 lbs......

Aguilera was hurt at the end of the 6th it seemed. Tarver didn't pick up on it. Looks like he's gassing a bit, digging deep imo. No rounds for Nagy. 6-0.
