Broner got some good odds and first time for Mikey in that weight class. Slight edge to Broner skills wise.....Not sure if it's enough to pull the trigger though. Thoughts?

Broner is on the downslide, he looked just slighlty better than an average fighter in Granados his last fight. Mikey is crazy calm in the ring, its scary.

Mikey opened as high as -800 but the line just keeps dropping. Broner is getting extreme public backing. The books need mikey here.
Broner has the ability to beat anyone at 140 but has consistently underachieved. Broner was a monster at 135 he was bigger stronger faster than every opponent. At 147 he didnt have those advantages and struggled at times especially vs physically strong pressure fighters such as maidana and porter. You can even look at his last fight he was a -400 favorite and barely beat granados by close split decision because granados did the same thing pressured him and basically bullied the bully made broner fight on the back foot. Mikey doesn't have that style that has bothered broner. Mikey is a boxer puncher technician with precision, power and accuracy but he has never even fought at this weight before. Broner will be physically stronger and just as fast if not faster he should be able to impose his game. But it all comes down to between the ears and how broner handles adversity. He hasn't handled it well in other big fights and there will be adversity in this fight. Mikey will get his he is too damn good not to. This is a super interesting fight. I could see it 7-5 either way or even a draw if broner can find a way to rise to the occasion for once in his life.
Side bar is Robert garcia trained maidana to beat broner. The blueprint is there even though maidana and mikey are so very different.
Looking forward to this one. Good luck

As far as the Broner fight from a betting perspective. I will agree there is value on the dog. I expect a close fight so +200 is probably the way to go. However its a huge red flag for me the amount of extreme public love that bettors are giving Broner. I'd proceed with caution.
Best of Luck. Enjoy the fights!

I like AB in this one, he was too much of an underdog not to bet. I tried to get it when it was 5-1 but it dropped so quick. Garcia is good too and I wouldn't be surprised if he wins, but if AB lets his hands go he may have too much power for Garcia. Broner usually has problems with high pressure boxers and that's not Garcia's style. 50/50 fight

The odds dropped on broner because broner kept talking about it, he should of kept his mouth shut and let us take that 5 to 1 lol now its 3 to 1
At +500 its a lot easier to make a case for Broner here. At +200 i don't know if thats enough value.
You're betting on Broner being better than he has been recently and to rise to the occasion. It could happen but probably unlikely. Mikey is right to be the favorite here even moving up in weight. He wins this fight more often than not. Broner is insane who knows what to expect from this guy. lol
And i can't stress enough the betting public is on Broner huge and thats never a good sign.
Can't endorse a Broner play for that reason.
Good Luck!

Broner looked like death on the scale face all caved in looked real drawn out. Even though he weighed in light at 138 lbs. Mikey looked healthy and ready to go easy for him to make 140.

Line just keeps dropping. People betting broner like they have tomorrow's paper. Maybe sleeping on mikey a bit. This is a massively important fight for broner. He might not ever be relevant again if he loses this. Or Big money fights if he wins. Its crazy how boxing works. From all accounts he's ready trained hard for this fight and coming in light is a good sign as bad as he looked. Broner often missed weight in his career. Mikey could set himself up for a massive payday with a convincing win possibly pacquiao or a unification vs linaras. This is going to be a good fight. A lot on the line for both fighters.

Great insight. I took Garcia weeks ago at -400, this line movement has me very nervous. I saw Garcia fight last summer in the Barclays and he absolutely dismantled his opponent. Broner on the other hand (as you pointed out) barely made it past his last fight. As a heavy favorite...Regardless, gun to your head who wins?

For sure Mikey is a destroyer and a true elite fighter. But let's not forget he was fighting at 126 and 130 not too long ago while broner fought tough guys at 147.
Gun to head at even money I take Mikey all day. He's going to come ready to fight prepared mentally and physically. Can't say the same for sure about broner. If his mind is right this is a close fight. If not Mikey going to put a beating on him. At -220 -250 I won't bet it though. Don't see enough value.
Can't wait to see how this one unfolds.

Broner was rightfully a +500 underdog, his only chance was a lucky punch. Never seen Broner so inferior mentally in a fight, he went in there to survive, vs a little dude
