Bradley with 12ko's in 28 fights sure yeahe he will KO the pound for pound champ who in the main has shown to have a great chin. Steriods? I can't tell..

I like bradley here, I think it is a good spot for him, he has been waiting his whole life for a moment like this, plus he is the bigger and stronger man, I also believe that his evander holyfield way of using his head will cause some serious problems for and aggressive, southpaw combination puncher like manny,  manny has too many things going on in his life, bradley is much more focused,and hungry,   manny's opponents of late were either well past their best, like de la hoya and mosley, human punching bags like clottey and margarito or an older past his best natural featherweight in marquez( who I though won their last fight)  manny has not been in their with a guy this big, who is in his prime, who will be actually landing shots, bradley will also have a nice weight advantage coming into the ring as well,   don't get me wrong manny is great but I think most people's perspective of him is slightly overrated, I am not on bradley huge here more like 55 to 45 percent type of thing, I most likely will not bet on this one. because their is one question that I do have, can bradley take manny's punch?  I am not sure about this, if he can I think he will win it. hell has no furry like a fighter with something to prove. bradley has something to prove, this is his moment, just another fight for manny

Bradley is one of the most mentally tough fighters in the sport. He was put down with a left hook from hell from Kendal Holt, twice, and he came back and still dominated after that.  

Bradley is a diff breed that lives and breathes boxing, takes care of himself outside the ring.  

Pacquiao wanted out vs Marquez.  He wanted to quit.  He was a defeated man mentally in that fight.  i saw it right in his eyes.  Pacquiao will mentally fold in this fight and Bradley will break him down.  Pacquiao will not be able to handle pressure from a fighter like Bradley for 12 ruonds.  Not happening.

That is probably the most absurd thing i have ever read on this forum. Sure he had problems in the fight but are you really that dumb to say he wanted out? I know a few filipinos and they all tell me Manny is a god over there. The whole country stops everythign they are doing to watch his fights.

Manny doesn't box for himself or the money. He does it for pride and for his country. They are a very poor country and with Manny's success it gives them an escape from their everyday lives and struggles.

If the Pacquiao that showed up against Marquez is the same one that shows up for Bradley, he'll get completely outworked and soundly defeated. That's 100% indisputable fact. The only question was that an "off night" or legitimate sign of slippage?


I REALLY don't like the "ho hum" vibe coming from the Pacquiao camp for this fight. Bradley as always, seems absolutely fresh and focused. If boxing wasn't such a shell game and this wasn't another in-house Top Rank fight, I would be pounding the shit out of Bradley. 

Lastly, I'm beginning to question Pacquiao's will to fight. He obviously has significant interests outside the ring and that has reared it's head in the past. Eventually all of that catches up to a fighter, especially one with such unique double-duty. 

In short, it's going to happen. Marquez defeated Pacquiao in the last fight, got jobbed. Bradley at this point is a much more complete fighter than Marquez. He COULD win on the cards, being  an in-house fighter.

Pacquiao was a defeated man on that night.  Inside the ring, between rounds, and post fight.  Pacquiao and his team thought they would just rush in and stop JMM but they were 100% wrong.  What do you think this does to Pacquiao mental state?  He thought he was some invincible fighter and now he was just beaten by an old fighter who was blown up,.  

Once Bradley gives him that initial shock in the early rounds this fight is over.  Pacquiao will cave mentally.    Mark this down, Pacquiao is going to get his ass kicked, if he's not stopped or not, he's going to get beat badly and SOUNDLY.

Jersey you are confusing Pacman with Mayweather.

Pacman has never thought he was an invincible fighter. He has lost before in his career. He is not afraid to fight the top talent. Mr. sand in my vagina is the one who thinks he is invincible and thats only becaue he refused to fight any top fighters.

Pacman and his team thought they would steamroll Marquez.  They were humbled and Pacquiao is a defeated fighter after that.  Bradley will break him mentally.  The initial shock after the first 4 rounds is going to break Manny,

 Dont be fooled by the Filipino small frame and big guns of Bradley, look pacquiaos legs and calf that's where the speed and power coming from . Google his wrist size what's the diameter it's the same size as Tyson and Joe Louis plus of course boxing skills

Comparing Bradley to Marquez at this point is ridiculous. Marquez is topping the list regarding mentally tough fighters. Manny was not thrilled about fighting him again and thought maybe at the higher weight Marquez wouldn't be the same man, he proved many wrong.
Bradley is very prepared and a tough fighter, but comparing his to Marquez is foolish to handicap this fight. Marquez has always felt confident against Manny and is a future HOF fighter with some of the best technique with measuring his punches for maximum damage.

Bradley doesn't have the experience Marquez has so watching the film and finding exposures in Manny's game is one part, the other part is being able to capitalize on it. Manny has such great athleticism it is much different when you are fighting him to use the tactics in your strategy. You think Mayweather doesn't know this? Sure he does, he will wait until Manny declines enough and the fight leans heavily toward technique and not athleticism, and that is Mayweather's game (besides his great athleticism). People can try to say Mayweather isn't that good because of the Cotto fight. Cotto is a better fighter than ever, is much more relaxed, uses defensive techniques, and made the 10oz gloves a factor by swarming Mayweather constantly. Also, Cotto has the perfect game plan, but he just didn't have the skills to pull it off.
In the past 5 years only two fighters I under-estimated their total package. Froch, who impressed me with his consistent fights against the best in his division, but unfortunately he did the best he could against fighters who had the edge overall. Bute was out-classed and his punches were easy to see coming for any decent pro. This fight was similar to top level thoroughbred racing when you have a horse that is undefeated, has faster times than all the horses, but has only gone up against Grade III horses, and never Grade I. The gap is HUGE, mainly when a horse is unchallenged they are relaxed and run faster. A great trainer knows where to place his horse and keep him winning. This was the case for Bute who was fighting Tier 3 fighters while Froch fought Tier I. One reason behind Bute possibly never fighting Tier one level fighters is that his trainers and team felt (or knew) he was out-classed, so for a long time he fought soft opponents.
Bradley I thought was an over-achiever. He has two problems going in to this bout... one is his level of opposition (but he was not in the same serious peril like Bute because he can fight Tier I fighters), the other problem is power. His punching will have to be accurate and he will have to keep moving 12 rounds and try and pick Manny off and hope judges don't rob him. Manny is fighting a tough guy that has a good jab and great fundamentals and also he knows moving and picking Manny apart is his only way to win. If he gets in to any trading punches, he might have the chin but he will hit the deck a few times from Manny's raw power. I haven't decided exactly how I will bet this bout, but I will post before the fight what I plan to wager and what I feel is the best +EV. GL!

Bradley will be on the move. Yes he will stand his ground when he feels open shots are there, but he doesn't have the power. When you walk a guy down, you better have power or a huge edge in speed and every other category. How many fighters walked down George Foreman? ) In his prime mostly? None could back Foreman up because he had the huge power edge. He even said in training camp that Liston was the only man that ever could back him up.
Jersey, if you had any valid analysis how Bradley will walk down Manny I'm willing to read, but you make foolish statements and key words like DESTROY, CUT HIM UP, etc,,, making a powerful but clueless statement.

that is exactly the picture that the rest of world does not see but it is true he gives away a lot of his money. his love for his country and people is genuine and vice versa. They support and embrace the positive image of pacman. few from there dare or aspire to even try to follow a dream but to them his light also ignites a fire in them.

  I think bradley will be the one dictating the pace of this fight,  he will do his fare share of moving around on the outside,  but that is only for him to find the right time to attack ( he will not really be boxing from the outside,simply looking for an opening) and when he does, he will consistantly push manny back, he will not pressure like say dwight mahammad qawi used to, but more like carmine basilio, and he will pressure not only with his punches,  but like I had mentioned before, the way he uses his head while coming forward (evander holyfield style) add to the fact that manny is an aggressive SOUTHPAW combanation puncher,   if ever their was a fight when headbutts will be a factor this is it. I think think bradley's style as well as his strength  is going to give manny fits,     my ONLY question is weather bradley can take manny's punch,    if he can he will win it and ya know what?  I think he will,   bradley in an upset, as I have stated a few times before.

The only problem with Bradley using his head like Evander learned how to do is that with Heavyweights it is easier as they are not up are their toes. Manny seems to bounce enough that Bradley's attempts will fall short to quick short punches. I think he can pick spots from the move, but he better keep them short and not get involved in trying to stand his ground in a near trading punches to slow Manny down.
If Bradley had a bit more power, he would be ripe for the upset. This going to the scorecards he has too much against him.
