I think Bradley is GREAT value at +350. You are going to get a great run for your money. Now i'm sure Pacman will probably get a dodgy decision if its anyway close but I think Bradley gives him a serious scare here...
Bradley is one of those fighters that does everything well. He has two incredible attriubutes though. Freakish strength/Physique and mental toughness/Determination. Pacman has not looked the same the past 2 years. Half his time in congress and the fact that his age is catching up with him means he is no match for Mayweather. He never was really. Bradley is undefeated and will be super motivated and hungry for this match..
I was hoping and expecting more then +350 but the books know Bradley is a VERY live dog here..Cotto is +400 against Mayweather yet has little chance..

I pretty much agree with all of this. Come to think of it, if Pacquiao would lose to Bradley, no harm no foul for Top Rank. A new cash cow is established without him ever having to take a risk. The fact that he fought Casamayor was disgusting, imo. Why did they put him in with the softest possible opponent?

Bradley would be the better play, but I think I'll pass because Bradley is not a KO guy, Manny will be ready for this fight, he has always had trouble with JMM. Manny wins probably by dec.
Floyd should be more like 10-1, Cotto looked good last time, but that was against a joke with one eye. Pound Floyd if you want to get paid.
Bradley has a chance but no one wants to see Mayweather-Bradley. Floyd and Manny will meet this fall.

Bradley need to use the ring and his big head in order to have a chance with PAC. If the fight happens to be a dog fight i think PAC KO Bradley since he does not posses a power KO punch. Yes, Bradley will give PAC a run for his money as long as he boxes smart.

I forgot (not that it matters) a member posted Pacman -1000, which I couldn't see for many reasons. I looked the previous evening and couldn't find any odds to see where I would stand. I landed on Pacman -600 as my thought they would post. Reasons is currently (not just because the past JMM fight) he is distracted with so much in his life that it's difficult to be such a huge favorite at all. Also, I felt they would want some action and would get plenty on Bradley bettors. I also stated in a post that the timing is perfect for Bradley (he gets Pacman without a tough fight), his confidence is high, and Manny (and Floyd) still hold the curtain of invincibility. The unfortunate fact is even with the best timing, this fight won't be like his last two southpaws that lacked the straight left and inside combination quickness. Devon I saw live ringside at MSG 2008, and you could see the physical abilities... four years later he hasn't progressed. Manny with distractions, hand speed slowing down, etc, etc... still remains the much stronger fighter and he has fought a good amount of fighters at their peak, prime or just below it. Bradley hasn't fought anyone of ability, experience, in their prime and a true recognized champion. Bradley see's how Marquez countered and that game plan can work every time against Manny, but Marquez is the master at distance. He will be boxing and doing his thing, but his alterior motive is finding the exact distance so when both fighters throw, JMM's punches land crisp and flush. His innate ability to do this and also no lose pace in the fight is a masterful talent. Floyd's ability to breakdown a fighter and have that natural anticipation adjustment work in less than two rounds. The only times Floyd has problems is against fighters who throw good jabs and in high volume (via Oscar). In the end, Manny is physically superior and takes Bradley out. In what fashion depends if Bradley jabs and moves to an extreme in the scenario you won't see many power punching trading. If Bradley feels confident (maybe Manny can play Possum) and pursues Manny just a few times to many... Manny will take full advantage. As for the judges giving Bradley a decision on a close fight, might have a lot to do with what the projections are on attendance, PPV revenues and how involved the media becomes. If Arum has a guy he believes can bring revenues, and Manny is planning to retire soon, if Bradley can game plan a win, why not let him. In the end, Manny is still to physical for Bradley in almost every scenario I analyze.

Zouk, I seen someone say -1000, and I forgot to comment, I was thinking -600 at the worst, if it was -1000 all the money would be on Bradley, hopefully the line will go down as I expect Manny to comeback strong. Bradley is good I just don't see him winning.

Two top rank fighters fighting each other. Their is no way that bradley wins the fight. Bob Arum is known for exactly this and they have been doing this in the public eye for what seems like the last couple of years. He knows he has to get Pacquaio through at least this fight so he can face Money in November for the real big pay day. If Bradley was not a Top Rank fighter, I would take the gamble on him to giv eus the upset but since they are both in the same house, there is no way that Papa arum allows that to happen

Isn't it reasonable to question Bradley's chin a little bit? Holt was the last person to really test it, and he had him down twice. Not many punchers on Bradley's resume.

Thats definitely a strong possibility.. I can easily see Bradley touching the canvas once.. Then adjusting and being competitive..
The play here is Bradley ML, hedged by a Pac decision..
Whens the last time Pac KO'd someone? Cotto 4 years ago in round 12.. Bradley will be fine, he has very good defense and will definitely be careful and aware of Pacs strengths.. Pac has the straight left and thats it..

I think Danno Bradleys chin is ok. He is prone to the odd flash knock down and this could obviously put him behind on the scorecards. I don't see pacquaio stopping him though.
I think Pac by decision and Bradley ML (as Fred said above) is the play for this fight. For Mayweather v Cotto it will be Floyd on points for me..

of course "pound floyd" looks like the thing to do,,and no doubt it is the thing to do- the problem is the majority of the posters here at covers do not have the financial where with all to lay 8000 to win 1000,,and 100 to win 12.50 is certainly not a good value play or to exciting to many players-- so, all the small players will load up on cotto with an eye on the big payout- the wise players will take floyd at the best price they can find in the "to win" catagory - you will need a big billfold and a big "pair" to make cash on floyd but that looks like the way thru these blood shot eyes.

Paquiao's weakness is the straight right. Bradley's right has too much loop, and its not very clever or sneaky, nor is it as fast as Pacquiao's left, plus Bradley has short arms. Pacquiao is quicker, faster, more powerful, smarter, more experienced, takes punches better, and the judges will give him the fight if its close. There's nothing phenomenal about Bradley except for his stamina and his heart, but Pacquiao is no slouch in those categories either. I heavily favor Pacquiao in this fight.
It's obvious that Arum is milking 1 or 2 more "inhouse PPV" megaprofits before feeding Pacquiao to Mayweather. Pacquiao's crossover appeal has more to do with his MYSTIQUE as an ATG combined with the Mayweather rivalry. When Pacquiao loses he'll still do GOOD numbers but not the GREAT numbers of a crossover star. Those who truly love Pacquiao will advise him to retire soon after the Mayweather loss. Pacquiao is already showing signs of slowing down.
