Chambers/Peter - It's Simple...

I'll take less fat against more fat. In the shape Peter is in,..... he's lucky to last 10 rounds shadow boxing. Chambers by easy decision is my pick.

I think the under might be a good play here at +200.  Maybe Peter gets lucky and catches Chambers with something big.  If not, I think he'll be looking for a way out of this fight.  I don't think he wants to get beat up by a smaller, faster man for ten rounds.

When I wrote $1 on Chambers, it's my thought that it's not a fight  you lay big money, so of course my pick is Chambers, but at $1 because that's what this heavy weight division is worth.

If you read my post BOTH posts, it clearly states Eddie is not world beater, and even by him beating Peter (whichever Peter shows up), would be his coming out party.

Eddie Chambers beating Sam Peter on ESPN will be BIG FOR HIM, his coming out party being he can maybe get a shot at a title or a bigger pay day.

Remember Sam Peter already used his life line twice on ESPN, his career is OVER. BOTH KLITCHO's are rated #1 & 2 (sadly), and he lost to BOTH.

So whenever I say $1 it means I don't think greatly of either fighter.


i heard you clearly stating not bettable and stay away and then in the next post stating it was the end of sam peter's career and was a big coming out party for chambers..  near even odds seems like phenomenal betting if you believe someone's about to end someone's career.

i'm not trying to hate on you man... reading several of your posts seems like you liked eddie to win strongly... at even odds that seems like a very bettable fight to me...

I don't mean not bettable by price, I mean by each fighter, yes I liked Eddie Chambers, he's not truly proven.

Sam Peter's career was over his last fight, when I say this ends his career means no  more pay days like he was seeing. When you wind up on ESPN and LOSE  you know it's all coming to an end.

When I say it was Eddie Chamber's coming out party, means it's his time now, yes it's a joke of a division, but he will get his shot and most non boxing fans really never heard of Eddie Chambers before now a lot more do.

I kept on saying not bettable because you have an unproven fighter  with skills versus a fighter who is at the end of his career but still has power.

Eddie Chamber should of KO'd Peter as it was there all night, over hand right was open and he would have received a much better payday on his next fight by KO'ing Peter on national television.

I think it's safe to say that a couple fat paychecks went to Peter's head and stomach.  Based on last night he is gatekeeper material.

Thanks for the post CPK007, that's all I was trying to do is help out, I knew Peter didn't have it in him and was trying to save people some money if they were going to take him!

If you want to learn more about the sport, picking a fight with me and ghostkid doesn't seem like a good way of going about it.

Lol, agree.  Why did you guys take it so personal anyway?  It's simple, you cite an article when it is someone else's work.  I would think that GH would agree.

You're probably right about what you said, but you have to admit, CPK007 makes some good points about a couple of the guys in here, maybe those couple of guys can post some rules so we all can understand what to write and what not to write on their website!

Which guys?  To me, it looks like an immature rant from someone who's never participated in this forum.  If anything, the rant was targeted at me and Ghost Kid, which is entirely inappropriate and makes me not want to post on covers, as I don't want to help people like him make money in boxing.

I would venture to say that A2C has much more to life then posting on a Covers board, but it's funny that you mentioned that statement because that is what GH does to support his life; it's how he makes a living and he doesn't write articles for others to post elsewhere without giving him credit for his words.
