cotto-margarito, round by round updates please? in here if poss

 He put the pain on Cotto, did you see his face. Thank You Emmanuel Stewart for convincing me to hedge my Cotto bet. If you saw it in the begginning of the fight he explained how Margarita would win and it happened. Went from losing a WHOLE lot of money to losing 2 hundo....but it was worth it

I'm not sure Cotto can beat Margarito over 12 rounds.  It's like Vernon Forrest and Shane Mosely, some styles are just insurmountable for certain guys.  I still think Cotto goes on to future belts and many more wins, but I wouldn't rush to rematch with Margarito, given what those last 5-6 rounds looked like.

It was all the body work in the early rounds that did it IMO

Hell of a fight ... Cotto looked sharp and crisp throught 5. However, he started to fade in the 6th I think his legs got tired from Margarito chasing him around the ring.  Clearly Margarito dominated those later rounds and Cotto succumbed.
 
As many clean shots Cotto landed against Margarito he was never hurt in this match. Damn does he have a chin.

Thats what I said .I had it 3-2 Marg. at that point but could have easily seen it 3-2 Cotto. Too many people pay to much attention to the retard card ,I mean the Letterman card

Anyone know what the scores were at the time of stoppage??

Preferably without the 11th round included.

Rounds 1-10 would be great or where to find them . Not sure if they showed them or not had to say goodbye to company right after the fight

2 judges had it 96-94 Margarito, and one had it even after the 10th.  Which basically means it was 4-1 or 5-0 Cotto through 5, as Margarito won the last 5.

figured if it ever went to scorecards, cotto would have won because that is the way it always seems to go. Kinda like the other night when Lacy got his ass kicked.

Yahoo's round by round scoring had it 6-4 Cotto after 10, including 5 of the first 6.  I'm not saying the way I had it was definitive or that you were wrong if Margarito was ahead on your card, but you can certainly make the case to score almost all those first rounds for Cotto.  Margarito made it a moot point, highlighting the fact that Cotto would've needed to win all 12 rounds to win the fight.  Margarito was just relentless, and when Cotto started to wear out, it was over.

I would have to agree that the guy some viewed as p4p best in the world, was overrated. He's smaller than the biggest welterweights, and there are many guys that could give him problems.

Thanks. I didnt want to know the scores to say I told you so,I'm not like that. I just wanted to see if Margarito was going to win or not if it went all 12 rounds. Thanks again
