Line is not out for me yet .. I have only seen SS fight I know he is pretty solid good combos . Adamek I believe lost to Dawson who is a similar type fighter .. very close.. but I think SS should pull it out .. prob gonna be a good fight though free on VS ..

Deathvalli- Where did u see SS fight? His only fight on US TV was vs a Polish Guy in Poland -Wlodarczyk (SS lost 1st won 2nd ) and that repeat just started to show up on TV. After watching that fight u can't be impressed with SSC. He did fight Marco Huck in Germany and beat him and his undefeated record but Huck is 10x more unexperienced then SS. That fight i was rooting for SS.
I know Adamek personally but i do know his trainer Andrew Gmitruk even more. He reassures me that Adamek is in his best shape that hes seen him and he has no weight problems. Don't forget this is Cunninghams 1st big fight in US. Most of his fights took place in Europe. I am told that NJ Prudential sold 5k tickets and dont expect to see more then 300-500 Cunningham fans. NJ-NY has a huge Polish population this fight is advertised well in the Polish community. Should be a great fight.
Also i dont see the fight going to distance at all.. Cunningham is a fighter thats slick and runs away-Adamek will 4sure be the stronger out of the 2 but its not going to be easy to catch SS.
VALUE PLAY--100% on Adamek+200

WOW +200 i love it.

Adamek +200 has some value, but I'll take USS by Decision. I've seen both Wlod fights and his destruction of Huck. Also he's beaten Guillermo Jones who's the 3rd best guy in the division. Also fighting on US TV could bring out the best of him.

Seems like you have some personal insight here lucky luke, but I really think that Steve boxes/out quicks Adamek in route to a decision win and have to side with kidcole here. The thing that worries me the most is the layoff for Steve, but he has performed well after periods of inactivity before.
Can't speak for deathvalli on whether he saw the fights, but in this day and age fights overseas are pretty accessible in real time and on replay. I know that I watched the Huck fight live on streamtvnow and I am sure there were links to the fight on boxing message boards.

Fullbrights- U are right Steves layoff (a full year!) deff benefits Adamek. Steve's toughest fights were against Wlodarczyk (as he says) and if you look at it logically WHO IS WLODARCZYK..a fighter with a big blown out record. As for Adamek hes a smart fighter and ready to brawl. (his fights against Briggs prove that) Also recently he fought the ex champ O'Neil Bell who Quit! after 8th round by throwing in the towel saying that he just could not get to Adamek. Tomasz did lose to Dawson but as u can see Dawson seems to be in another league. Dont forget that Adamek was able to knock down Dawson (first time in his career) in late rounds! Adamek was complaining weeks before the fight that we was sick but says that this was not an excuse..
The fight should be a good one and i think its very very even With advantages pointing at Adamek. and ill take the +200
Best of Luck to all would love to hear your opinions

Luke- I don't doubt what your hearing, but question the validity of the info. Steve is a natural cruiser and have to believe despite the layoff he'll be ready.
There is no question that the Pole will have quite the following. His Chicago fights were ridiculously one-sided.
Just seems to me Adamek is outside his comfort range in this class and not worth play here even at the +200 range. 3 or 3.5 maybe.
Under 11 1/2 may be the real value. If Steve comes into the ring sharp this one may end early beacuse I have a feeling, pure gut here, that we might get to see a real 1st class show on Thursday against a pretty respetable opponent.

I doubt Steve is having trouble making weight at all. He's usually closer to a light heavy than a cruiser. No offense Lake, but your source isn't right on this one.

Hard to believe Steve is having trouble making weight seeing as how he has always been well below the 200 lb limit throughout his career.
As to your question Cap. Cunningham was just much more skilled then Huck IMO. I had him up 7-4 entering the final round. He was just much more technically sound, active, and landed the cleaner punches. Huck would throw a bunch of punches at certain times when Steve was on the ropes, but they really weren't that effective. Huck's shots were of the clubbing variety and Steve's were sharp and effective. Also, Huck was completely exhausted (and I mean completely) in the 12th when the stoppage came.

Can hardly believe I said that. See, Steve may have the reach but the other guy has very slightly faster hands and a straighter shot. On the Inside, Polish guy has a much faster flury and better combos. Steve is a slowish starter, and with his layoff, will lose the early ones adjusting. So I reckon he loses a MD.
This'll be a long range chess match and I think Polish warrior has the better smarts. Not a heavy bet, thats for sure.
