+550 Paul Briggs

da dude has a serious chance in my opinion. I wanna know why the line has moved so much though. Danny Green went from -550 to -800.  Paul briggs has been off for 3 years but he's not a bum, and Danny Green is not a world beater by any means plus he's old as shit. I heard something about a heart condtion Briggs might have. Can someone inform me?

A FURIOUS Danny Green has promised to dish out the punishment of a lifetime to Paul Briggs after the Queenslander blatantly flouted the 84kg weight limit for tonight's bout in Perth. Fanciful to think Briggs will be even slightly competitive in this one, a guy who has not been boxing for 3 years comes out of retirement and has 6 weeks to prepare for this fight.

This fight is a disgrace and the NSW boxing authority at least had the balls to not allow it to occur in NSW hence the move to Perth.

Something stinks about this fight as well in terms of the betting odds - Green to win in the 1st round has been crunched from +300 all the way down to -200 within the last 10 hours.

A FARCICAL FINISH: Briggs goes down. It's all over. Green wins. The fans are furious. A watter bottle gets thrown from the crowd in disgust. Unbelievable. Green barely touches him with a left jab that skims Briggs' hair. The fight lasts only 29 seconds.

Shame on Danny Green for taking a fight against a guy who had a brain injury that forced him NOT to fight since '07.

If you look closely he hit him with a straight jab to the top of the  head while his head was lowered.

I don't think he faked it, I do believe he didn't belong in the ring from a medical stand point.

Just shows you how desperate some guys are for money risking more brain injury for a few bucks.

Look at 1:49 to 1:51 was a clear shot to the head... to boxing fans yes a disappointment but blame whatever commission cleared this guy medically.

                                        

The fight looked fixed to me. I can't believe this was the same Briggs who was a Muy Thai fighter before he boxed(toughness). The same Briggs who I personally thoght had 2 draws with an "in his prime" Tomasz Adamek. The fight looked fixed to me. I feel sorry for any Australian who might have bought the PPV.

I didn't realize how serious Briggs' head issues were.  After reading this thread, I did some googling, and it's a shame that this fight was even allowed to happen.  What a joke.

Briggs knew he couldn't take a punch but the money offered was too good so came out of retirement just to collect his 200k.

He had no intention of fighting more than 1 round. In the end he didn't even get past 30 seconds

Obviously rigged.  Just dont think Green thought Briggs would make it look so obvious. 

The +300 to -200 says it all.

Green needs to f'n fight a REAL light heavy.  Dawson, Cloud, Johnson, Pascal, anyone.
