David Haye -200? Is Valuev this bad?

I admit I don't know much about Valuev, but if a bum like Haye is -200 it must mean he is that bad!!
Anyone thinks he actually isn't and would throw something on him?

Haye should win on points, I don't believe he can KO Valuev.

Haye is the superior boxer and has tons of speed (light years compared to Valuev).

Remember, hoke cooking could happen for Valuev, and if Haye gets silly thinking he's fighting a weak cruiser weight he will be knocked out.

While I don't believe Haye is dumb enough to exchange with a Giant, he does have a weak chin, so I expect a boring fight where Haye wins on points.

But put a BIG question mark on the SCORING remember home town cooking could erase that Easy decision for Haye.

I don't see the Value in laying 2-1  thegreek has Haye at -175 now and -170 for the over, (The OVER seems a better Value).

I think we've seen the past years what home town cooking can do.

Valuev isn't getting Ko'd and if Haye fights smart he can 1-2 Valuev  all night. He cannot afford to exchange.

If you are betting Haye seems like the line is DROPPING better to see if it drops more.

Personally if this was in Haye's home town I would say it's a good bet, but since it's not the OVER seems better.

Since when is Haye a bum?  Granted, he'll get smoked by the Klitschko's, but there's a fair amount of heavyweights he can beat, Valuev being one of them.

See David Haye is a BULLY, like all bullies when someone stands up to him, he applies some more pressure then when he realizes he has no power over the guy he folds like an accordion.

The division is a JOKE. David Haye saw this and ran for the money. I cannot blame him right now the division is a JOKE and anyone can get a heavy weight title shot.

The only Cruiser weight that ever went on to be something special in the heavyweight division was Evander Holyfield, now his nick name is deserved "Real Deal" look at his resume..

Back as a cruiser and a youngster Evander fought back then a guy tough as nails Dwight Muhammad QAWI for 15 rounds!

This was back then when you actually fought and earned your money.

If this was the 80's David Haye wouldn't even be mentioned sadly this isn't and we have a bunch of tomato cans in this division all going for the gold (trying to beat the Klitchos).

That said David Haye beating Valuev  is pretty simple stick and move.. and 1-2 and out.. and if he can do that for 12 he should win on points.

These two styles don't add up for an entertaining fight. Haye's only way of winning is by fighting light on his feet like Evander did against Valuev.

Evander has an IRON chin, Haye doesn't...I do believe if Haye runs and guns .. he can win an easy but UGLY decision.

Don't be surprised to see haye buckle or wobbled by a JAB from the 7 footer.

I can't agree that getting careless and stopped once by a lesser talent makes you a bum.

Showing nothing in 50 soft match-ups at home with corrupt officiating might be enough though to be called a bum.

I agree that Valuev is going to be tough to KO, so i'm staying away from Haye inside-distance.

Moneyline is at -190 now and i'd still take it.

Don't talk to yourself too much about determining value when this is a 1-on-1 sport. I rarely lay -190 on a fave in tennis but if its the Quarters or Semis and i find the value on the fave, i'll make the wager.

There is a jolly good chance the Beast from the East takes this one.
Remember, at heavyweight, Haye is muscled up and this detracts from late stamina.
If he doesn't hurt his opponent early, he could be fading late, moving around and losing the last 4 rounds.
He will find it hard to hurt the Russian.

I should add one thing.  Part of the demise here has to have come from the fact that this has been an off year for boxing.

In a nutshell, that is why I feel the big guy gets it done. He doesn't have the skill or speed to keep Haye on the end of his long, trashy jab. However, I think Valuev will win the exchanges on the inside, not the other way around.

Valuev in 116-112 fashion... if he doesn't hurt Haye at some point.

 

If Valuev wins this fight by decision it will be one of the greatest robberies in the history of the sport.  There is no way he is going to outbox Haye.  And I dont think Haye is a worldbeater whatsoever but his skill level is off the charts compared to the Sloth from the East.  Valuev is garbage.

Smart money on the Giant but after watching more video I swing to Haye.

The Giant has a poor punch output, lacks the killing instinct, has undeadly flurries, is unable to fight on the inside.

So... even if Haye punches himself out early failing to hurt the Russian, he won't find it hard to survive to the finish.

This is a tale of two fights, for Haye to win this, he needs to be on his toes like Evander Holyfield did (and got robbed btw).

He doesn't have Evander's CHIN so he best keep away even more.

Valuev is super slow, Haye SHOULD be able to outbox him in an ugly fight where basically he needs to 1-2 the big Russian and stick and move.

He cannot afford to TRADE at all. I don't mean don't box I mean don't go toe to toe and give the guy a chance at landing a shot.

Valuev has a sneaky left  jab which he doesn't throw enough.

I don't see Haye knocking him out, swinging upward and giving away so much height weight and reach.

No one can blame David Haye for the game plan he needs to do. You cannot exchange punches with a guy who is really a super Heavy Weight and  the other guy is really a cruiser weight.

Haye needs that stamina for his feet, because he needs to be on them. This is not a hard fight for David Haye, if he does exactly what Holyfield did he will get the win on points.

Fight price is so low now .. props aren't really needed.

I'm not betting this fight, I saw Evander get Robbed after winning clearly a few years back.

If the judges don't ripoff haye and his does what Holyfield did, he wins on points.
