Dawson vs Pascal

Kotelnik was robbed vs Alexander. What are the chances of Dawson getting robbed in Canada vs Pascal? Who's promoting the fight. Where are the judges from. Who will be the referee? Help me out. Do yall remember the hometown ref in the first Bute-Andrade fight. He blatantly cost Andrade the fight.

Even if the judges are legit, I can see them being swayed by 15,000 fans rooting for the fighter coming forward (Pascal).  The crowd will be cheering for any punch that Pascal throws, even if it doesn't land.

Dawson has almost every advantage in this fight except for his chin. I like Dawson by split dec, even though we'll all think it should have been unanimous.

Doesn't matter where the judges are from. The oldest trick in the book is to get guys from other countries to make them appear objective. You have to look at their track records and see if you agree with past scoring. Refs will almost always give a hometown guy an advantage despite where the ref is from.

I am at a loss as to why Dawson is fighting in Canada. I know his draw here sucks so the promoters are looking for a good purse for the fighters. Its a risky move by Dawson and Co.

I like Dawson to win, but in Canada? Hard to saw w/o a cap.

Dawson can't/won't finish Pascal. It's going to be close anyways, so Pascal +points seems to be the route to go. Quebec was the site when Funeka got robbed against Guzman. Here is something interesting about Jack Woodburn's scoring in Taylor vs Froch:

"Two judges had the 30-year-old former world middleweight champion from Little Rock, Arkansas, ahead by scores of 106-102 after 11 rounds. Inexplicably, judge Jack Woodburn had Froch leading by the same margin. No more eccentric interpretation of a fight has ever been posted by an official."

John Keane is a UK judge, don't see many high profile fights on his resume.

Gerald Ritter seems to have had plenty of work with Gary Shaw Productions, so he should be the judge to lean Dawson in a close one.

If you don't think Dawson will not knock out Pascal (I don't), how can you not love the +16.5 points prop for Pascal. One judge, Jack Woodburn, is already in the bag for Pascal(both from Quebec), so Dawson would have to pitch a damn near perfect game. I can see Pascal legitimately winning 3 rounds, and with one judge already in the bag, it's almost a sure bet.

Those are the official judges for the Glen Johnson - Chad Dawson rematch. This fight took place in Dawson's hometown and the scores were STILL closer than what they should have been. I had Dawson winning the rematch EASY!

Anyone check the points prop lately? LMFAO!

LOL! If I were you I'd take the +22.5. Fuck the odds, I like SURE MONEY. Even with one judge already bought, I can't see Pascal winning - not even by KO. Dawson is lightyears ahead technique-wise, he's an expert at using his height and reach, and I even like Dawson's hook more than Pascal's on the inside. Pascal is athletic but he seems too tight, and an expert boxer with height and reflexes like Dawson can easily see the power punches coming. Go with the sure money. I posted earlier that I can see Pascal legitimately winning 3 rounds, but I can also see Dawson pitching a perfect game (yes he is capable of it and a future lb4lber). GO WITH THE SURE MONEY!

Dawson will not stop Pascal. You can quote me on that. Dawson is too much of a safety first fighter to try and take out an explosive power-puncher with a good chin. I'm suggesting playing the +22.5 points prop for those who are considering playing the +13.5 points prop. If by an act of God, Pascal gets KO'd, then the +13.5 points prop would have lost as well.  -250 odds are better than -375 for Dawson straight up, because with 1 judge in the bag, there is a good chance Pascal wins if the fight is even remotely close.

How are you not concerned with the judges? Especially considering Jack Woodburn has proven to be biased and also from Quebec like Pascal.

This is the only boxing forum I know that pertains to gambling on boxing. What are some others?
