Just watched the Fight on TIVO..
All i can say that i am very very disappointed with Shamone.
I had it all even untill the KO and DR by 1 like 2 of the refs.
still think that with the value for Shamone the play was right..

I didn't have anything on this fight but the KD call was the only way it could be called. Alvarez got hit on the chin and went down, regardless of if he was hurt or not that is a KD.
I agree, it was just one of those off balance flash shots that kill you as a bettor when it comes decision time.
I don't even have to ask because I bet I know the answer, you were on JMM large last week. I am kicking myself for not sticking to my gut that JMM would be able to really catch Diaz with heavy shots because of his bull forward mentality. I just stayed off of it because I thought his time may have passed, through the first few rounds I thought this was the case, but then JMM got into his groove and the knockout followed.

I guess I meant that it easily could have been avoided by Alvarez, and in live time it almost looked like a slip and fall or he tripped on his own feet, and was halfway surprised it was called a kd. I've seen more convincing kd's be ruled a slip.
You're right though, it was a valid kd, it just didn't seem that way initially, and was more of a flash kd than being hurt by a punch.

I knew it, nice win. Yeah, that was a pre-fight factor that turned out to be a non-factor as the scorecards were balanced at the time of the stoppage.
Good to hear, I am am larger than usual on Julio, but I think the odds and situation warrant it. It's good to see BAD getting back to it's roots again. HBO is really on a roll.
