If you follow the sport than you've known about GGG for a while. He's a star but hasn't quite faced the competition. I think after last night he will get a big step up in competition starting 2015. They might feed him one more sacrificial lamb on HBO before taking him to PPV. But from what I am reading, there seems to be a lot of big names interested. Could be more talk than reality but I hold out hope that big fights involving GGG will happen. Andre Ward's camp has requested the fight, which might be the most shocking thing I've heard all year. I'll believe it when Ward actually signs the paper and fights. With Dan Goossen's death, I'm sure we will see much more Ward soon but who really knows. Golovkin said last night that he would like Cotto next. Also open to fighting Canelo and Chavez Jr at some point. None the less, GGG is a star and he should start getting star opponents soon. Look forward to 2015 with GGG and his eventual PPV debut and hopefully some close lines and bettable fights. Not saying he's worth betting on against any of those potential opponents, but he is certainly worth watching.

GGG is good, the only reason he hasn't faced anyone yet, is cause they are ducking him. Cotto should have made the easy defense against Rubio ( easy KO even without Roach in his corner). The only fighter who can beat GGG at 160-68 is Ward. Canelo will get KO'd if they fight.
Can't wait til 2015 and he fights Cotto/ Canelo/ Chavez, too bad Froch don't want no part of him that would be a good fight.
