Yeah Holt prob wins, but I see the champ dancing in his own backyard.  Also, Torres has only been stopped once, by some guy name Miguel Cotto...and he took the fight on last minute notice..
 
I'll save the $60 and make another wager with it.  Holt by UD

We'll see.  Too bad it's in Torres' back yard.  This is retarded.  Why would Holt agree to it unless he believed he would be able to thoroughly wax Torres?  He's got to know it'll go to Torres if it's anywhere near close.  What you think?  I'm thinking about to win $1000

It's a WBO mandatory fight for Torres that went to purse bid.  Torres's promoter won the purse bid so Holt didn't have a choice if he wanted to fight for the title.

If I were going to be Holt I would instead just bet the over, but I am betting Torres.  If Holt is going to win it will most likely be by staying at a distance and picking his spots en route to a decision win, but you have to think it will be tough to get that decision in Torres's backyard.  I am still not close to being sold on Holt's chin, Mighty Mike didn't try to test it; Torres won't be so cooperative.  I think Torres stops him or wins a controversial nod.

I think you're goin in the wrong direction, but we'll find out Sat. night. In America the odds would be -250 or more for Holt.  The only thing Torres has is homefield advantage.  Which I'm not saying isn't something to consider. 2.5% on Holt.

If you were going to bet Holt why wouldn't you just bet the over at much lower juice, plus it would guard against a controversial verdict against him? Do you think Holt will stop Torres?  In terms of fight outcomes this is the least likely in my opinion.

There's a reason the odds are almost even there.   Holt isn't a KO artist, but he can punch.  While Torres did ok against Cotto, he still lost. The rest of his competition has been mostly in Colombia. So we don't know a lot. Their common opponent Arnautis <sp> was decisively beaten by Holt, but with Torres it was a SD (some claimed a robbery)

I'll be honest... I'm not feeling safe with ANY bet on this fight mainly because of the location. If I make one, it'll be a small wager on Holt to win.  And maybe whatever the win out of that would be on a parlay for Holt and the over.

I lean towards Holt by the narrowest of margins. I mean a thin margin. Not a cent of mine is on this, might have to sit it out as I don't have a strong take here.

I'll take Ortiz, & MAH tonite on Vs. Network. (w/ some NCAA fb chalk if other fight lines are not opened up b4 they tip-off)

Both sides winners for me 2nite. Ortiz won ITD by 1 second! I hope someone hit that. MAH won a very comfortable Decision. I like that.

I like JuanU. His guy has some Chin issues I expect. Like Alverez in the main-event, he looks too strong for GS to me, SA is a Lefty, he has home-court, and the home-promoter in his pocket as well, & well all know that never hurts. GS ha never been past 10 either.

I want to tab LRC as well. Any1 in their 1,000th or 1,000,000th fight deserves a look-see by me. LRC does still have a few watts of Voltage, & NB seems to get beat when stepping up. Though NB does have the home-court.

I am still waiting to see the best price I can get on Torres.  I posted my other play for the night in the newbies plays thread, didn't want to upset you MMA.  I wonder if 5dimes will open up fight outcome for the Torres-Holt fight.

Ended up just laying a unit on Torres.  I wanted some outcome props to open up on the fight, but it doesn't look like it is going to happen.

From the sounds of it Holt boxed from a distance very well, even knocking Torres down twice, until he got caught himself.  I am hoping I can get this fight on tape sooner rather than later, I can't wait to see it.  Holt's chin will always cause me to bet against him when facing a legit puncher.

At least you didn't go with the to win $1,000 Snippets, I'm glad I was able to talk you down a good bit. 

I have a hard time ever justifying a large play on someone who has proven to have a bad chin and is facing a legit puncher.

Looks like the stoppage may have been a bit quick due to ring conditions.  You can't say I didn't warn you about the cards though, even if Holt survives the round it looks like he loses a controversial split decision.

Holt was destroying Torres through 11 rounds.  Even the Colombian announcers were distressed and saying Torres just couldn't hit Holt.  Easy win for Holt thrown in the trash.  Torres desperate and Holt got careless
