Lol yeah Floyd is going to throw this fight to set up a rematch. Because Conor McGregor is the only money fight around. Yeah that makes sense. Floyd's going to destroy his legacy and make boxing look stupid for a UFC fighter. OK then. Thanks for the inside info.

A loss would destroy Floyd's legacy and Conor would never give him another chance. And Floyd already said it's his last fight. And he'll be marked as old and finished.
Why would they pay $500 million to see a guy who proved he is too old to box again.
Conor would fight a legitimate boxer in his prime.
This is a money grab for Floyd and he has to win it. If he wins it he can box again if not he can but for much less $. Same as the Pacquiao situation.

That's what most experts and the books are saying (books minus the disappear as they live off the "morons" in the books).....
but like some things predictive we'll have to see in reality.

You and the 92% will witness a master class this Saturday and realize how stupid you were not to see it unfolding the way it will. The only question is how McGregor loses. If he goes the distance it should be considered a win for him and I will gladly eat my words. But by far the likeliest result is floyd by stoppage. Probably TKO via accumulation of strikes.. at -120 it's a great bet. This ain't MMA.

In his last 9 fights, 8 have gone 12 rounds, with his last knockout being 6 years ago...
Now, at 40yrs old, not having fought in 2 years, he is going to knockout a bigger more physical MMA fighter...Conner might not be a boxer but he can take a pounding....Mayweather will not win this fight with stoppage

Go play a imaginary ticket on floyd to win by decision then to go with your imaginary +1200 ticket on McGregor and lose both your imaginary bets. If that's what you think.

The action on this fight is amazing to me. I have no idea how people continue to bet Conor down to these odds, but they still do. I peg Conor's chance around 5% which means I would want minimum 19:1 just to break even on him. I can't believe I'm getting these odds on Floyd. It's amazing to me.
Most of the people I talk to about this fight actually think Conor has a legitimate chance at winning. They think it's as simple as "Conor is just going to cut off the ring and land that one punch". Like it hasn't been tried by better boxers 49 times before.
I'll usually ask someone that says something like that "Who do you think is a better boxer Conor or Canelo?". And they will typically answer Canelo. Same with Manny, Sugar Shane, and so on. They will always answer the boxer. And Floyd beat all of these guys. Yet people are still willing to take awful odds on Conor. I find it amazing.
Yes Floyd is 40 and hasn't fought in a two years. He also isn't the typical 40 year old. He doesn't drink or do drugs. He's been known to leave night clubs to go and run/train. He keeps himself in really good shape even when not active in the ring. He really has never been in a war. I'd argue that Conor has probably taken as much punishment in fewer fights. Floyd, even at 40, is going to have a speed and quickness advantage.
I'm just waiting and hoping to get the best number on Floyd and realize the most positive expected value I think I can get on this. So I hope people do keep betting Conor, I just don't understand the rationale of it at this point.

I agree. I get the whole argument about how Conor isnt built for 12 rounds, but I just have no faith in Floyd putting him away, as a fan I have just never witnessed him doing that to an opponent.
I put $500 on Floyd by decision +190
