Jermaine wins rounds very decisively especially the first 8, given we all know Abraham is a slow starter, Jermaine should have the first half of the fight in the bag.
If his stamina becomes an issue, he wins up on his ass like Pavlik and Froch did to him.
Jermaine doesn't know how to HOLD or even have the WILL to fight once he fatigues.
I know Abraham's CHIN will carry over to 168 that's not the question. We know Abraham is a gritty fighter and has heart.
Can his power carry over to 168 who knows, but in this fight its all about Jermaine's stamina, and if you believe Jermaine's story about "weight" being an issue and that's why he had stamina issues I have a bridge to sell you :)

If you can get past Jermaine's question marks, and still feel it's a steal then well "Perception is Reality", and you bet all you like.
Just throwing the facts out there, as much as I believe Jermaine has a legit shot at winning, I know he comes in with mental baggage that's your truly getting the high ODDS for.
Remember Jermaine always had stamina issues, pressure fighters exposed that.. and you need to see if Abraham can pressure him enough to wilt.
Please don't wager because Jermaine says the stamina was due to losing too much weight, that throws even MORE question marks into his dedication.
Think of Jermaine like a Cheetah extreme speed, but not for a LONG period of time., after a Cheetah goes 86 MPH for it's prey it either gets it or gives up because it doesn't have any energy left.

I guess I'm just one of those (knows nothing about boxing) idiots because I also think Taylor is a live dog. He has many edges physically height, reach and has fought the MUCH TOUGHER opposition IMO. Any fighter that has 2 Wins over Bernard Hopkins is far from being a Bum. His problems are mental & he has a tendency to be either too passive or too aggressive, (is that an oxymoron) at the wrong times. He will show great respect for an opponent until he gets hurt & then tends to look to exchange recklessly. A very bad habit! I have to admit. In spite of this...he is probably the superior boxer in this match-up. Does that mean he is a sure thing? Far from it.. because he has shown in the recent past a propensity for falling apart late in fights. I really think most of his problems are mental (especially stamina issues). But...if he uses his jab & superior reach advantage I could see him pulling off the upset in this one. It won't be easy to win a decision in Germany but hardly impossible. I understand why Abraham is favored though, He is the more disciplined of the 2 fighters & has that big 0 losses next to his record. Anytime you bet on Taylor it's somewhat of a crap-shoot but I can't resist taking a small shot at + 2.5 to 1. Let the chips fall where they may for my 1 unit bet. Best of Luck.

What makes me laugh is IF I somehow got this wrong and JT pulls this out, I would have no many haters! And these threads would be buzzing with Mack haters. Funny how everything has gotten so quiet.

Mack you were correct, but Abraham still didn't impress me. Let me rephrase that Abraham from a technical point is good, but for Americans they will hate him, you see how Floyd gets booed for Defense first... he cannot make it here in the U.S.
I do believe its time for Jermaine to quit, maybe a replacement.. this was the first fight he was losing, and then gets knocked out on a punch that well wasn't even intended to knock him out.
I wound up losing $5 lol(Jermaine wasn't the only loss), I parlayed college football along with Jermaine in a separate bet. I put the money on regular college football without boxing included. I liked Jermaine but wasn't risking my college picks on a 3-1 underdog.
First off in Germany, Abraham won the rounds rather easily, but I'm not sure if you seen the score cards.. but two judges had it VERY close, and that's AFTER taking a point away (which was unwarranted).
That scoring was TOO good for Jermaine, he didn't do much.. don't know how the judges gave Jermaine so many rounds.
Then we get to Froch... who was 100 % outclassed, a POINT taken away when BOTH guys were DIRTY, if anything Froch was dirtier, it's okay to HOLD, but he got a point deducted for leaning.. and froch threw him to the Floor and hit him behind the head over and over.
Froch lost that fight by quite a few points, I guess you see why Americans or for that matter any fighter goes over seas.. and get robbed.
Froch was HURT twice in that fight, oddly he never really touched Dirrell with anything good.
This scoring thing is dumb, and the setup is dumb, now Dirrell is down got his first unwarranted loss.. and probably has no chance at winning this Tournament, exactly what a YOUNG fighter doesn't need. He fought his heart out.
I agree showtime may have put together a Super 6 but leave it to the judges to put a black eye on even the best tournament.
I had respect for Froch, but after his interview... he basically lied his ass off.. and said he comfortably won.. and Dirrell didn't want to exchange lol.. gayest shit I ever heard! Dirrell was tagging him all night.
I don't know who fights who next, but like you I'm sick to my stomach with crap like this. Dirrell owned this fight and risked so much.. only to be robbed.
(I didn't even wager on the fight) I would of had Froch, but I personally would have been disappointed with myself because I know in my heart froch lost.
I don't know how they can Fix this, maybe Give Andre Ward "Home Town Cooking" :) Only fair right?

Rich my man. Firstly I called the fight spot on. I was massive on this as you know. I have at least 50 thank you mails and texts tonight and I feel great for guiding people correctly, when I knew Taylor has as much chance as me in there tonight. I didn't realise until tonight just how many follwers I had and I love you all for the amazing and kind words.
But sorry Rich, anyone that truly knows boxing knows JT was +2000 tonight. I hung my neck out and didn't flinch an inch. Did i?.

Anyhow, if you see my super 6 preview, I have Ward and AA as my picks.
BUT if you look at my picks closely, I also said IF AA wins this, he will not take off in America. I mean who will pay 55 dollars to watch this guy fight? Sweet fck all!
My idea of a disaster in this tourney is a AA/Kessler final. My god I wouldnt care who won and i'd be asleep in round 5 and I am European!!!And sure the winner may think he is a superstar but if its Froch/Kessler/AA they wont be! Kessler and AA are as sound a fighter you would wish to see (Froch wwwwwwwwwwell behind) but they do not capture the imagination!
I know Calzaghe has many critics here, but he was box office and the guy could seriously box. I would not mention him with B-HOP or RJJ but he was just beneath them and certainly not that far off. In fact at their peaks I have RJJ beating JC 115-113 and I wouldnt even change the B-Hop result from April las year but I scored that 114-113 BHOP......AA, Kessler are not in the same league as these guys, they are not!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Right now I feel let down. Andre Ward please be the fighter I believe you are.......

Taylor is finished and has been finished, I kind of hope they don't make him fight again cause it could be the same results. I say save him the head trauma and bring some other person in as a replacement whats the point of making this guy fly over the pond to keep getting his head bashed in.
