Why does it seem they are never held accountable (people ask)? The reason is they are paid to do a job and see a fight from the MONEY view and the problem lies with promotion and sanctioning bodies.. the judges are puppets told what do to. If they didn't do as told, they wouldn't have jobs in boxing. Pressure needs to be on the whoever benefits the most... and it's a simple process. The problem is unlike other sports, that have unions, players associations, strikes... boxing has nothing for the fighters like retirement, and it goes from there. Sugar Ray Leonard had attempted many times for fighters to get some compensation as the brain damage to many fighters prohibits their ability to do anything else for a job. Also, when you have been in the ring since you were 10 to age 35, you know boxing... nothing else. Not even a trade skill. I often am hard on fighters like Mayweather, but their rules of life is the #1 rule in the ring... protect yourself at all times!

As long as we support 100 million PPV events that are PR jokes, they will continue. Fighters cant strike like other sports for 2 reason... A: they need money B:they need continual real ring experience. You did need ideas for name people with hearted interest not money.. supported by us,... very tough.

Take any subject... Musical Entertainment (not called singers anymore)... because without video, items, etc.. less cash. Today's world is headed that way. People call the people in these industries SELL-OUTS... nice term, but guess what... that's what they want to do... SELL-OUT as much BS as possible and make money why they can. Every industry since the 90s has done it. The 2000 DOT com models did this... made ideas, sold for millions, and were junk. The economy just couldn't fit all these ideas even if they all were great, not enough to go around!

You would need a popular figure is a campaign poster boy for a change. You would need lawyers and economists, marketing and management strategists, and also overcome the biggest obstacle. Allt eh Lobbyists making millions from Arum, Golden Boy Promotions, etc... to fight you battle on capitol hill as well. The reason, if you were able to raise money to fund a sanctioning body, fighters willing to commit, lobbyists would force their local congressmen to create laws in effect to make what you are doing illegal... sound unreal? IT IS TRUTH. This is a very short summary, but I want to get the point across. Land of the free is very costly! We have a Democracy... every year who have many people running for President, but at the end, you choose between A or B. So we have a choice, one more than a dictatorship. Yes, we have the ability to do things, but when the cat is out the bag, surprise... opposition as you will be taking funds away from another source high up. I know thesoulpurpose is highly into this as it falls directly into his topic of the world (and his writings). I'm against many conspiracy theories as it's another con to make money... but just write your local congressman and get information on upcoming bills, laws, votes, statutes, etc... most don't know and don't care as long as they are paid.
