The claim: Donald Trump helped with the emergency response and cleanup
after the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, contributing money and hiring workers
President Donald Trump has made many public comments about his memories
of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Some of his claims have become popular
memes among his supporters.
“Two days after the 9/11 attack Trump was at Ground Zero with
hundreds of workers that he paid of his own pocket to help find
and identify victims. He's been a patriot to the country he loves
forever,” a viral meme spread widely across Facebook reads.
Trump made a somewhat similar claim himself on Sept. 11, 2019,
claiming that after seeing the attacks, he joined support efforts
at Ground Zero alongside his employees.
"Soon after, I went down to Ground Zero with men who worked
for me to try to help in any little way that we could,"
THE TRUTH:
There is no evidence that Trump helped with efforts at Ground Zero.

Let me ask you guys one simple question. Do you think Trump is the only politician to lie to the American people???????????????????
Name one fkin politician who you think has never lied???????? THERE ALL LIARS. Look at this way- why are so many politicians have
a major disdain for Trump? Have you ever considered that he is attacking the "financial' connections? Ask yourself why are they so pissed
off. There is zero doubt in my mind that this is 99% of their hatred. If he attacks their income then all hell is going to be on, wouldn't you agree.

Attack their income? Show me one DC politician having a hard time making their mortgage or car payments? Their disdain of him is based on his crudeness, his lying, his racists comments, his thievery etc etc.

midnite - the disdain started way before the pandemic. I truly believe that they didn't want anybody (republican) in office that they couldn't
control and maintain their status quo. Including the financial gains they reek from lobbyist for favor. Trump has upset the balance
which this country was in dire need of. I'll never understand the mentality of why we need the government to tell us when to wipe
our ass. This is the Democratic posture is it not? More government? I wasn't very clear on the attacking income. Stay generous brother.

I hate bureaucracy but we need it to maintain order IMO. I've never been political until Trump came along because I really believe he's dangerous & can't be trusted.
You'll see that after the election I'll slowly drift away from this forum because like religion, it's not one of my favorite topics.
I rather hang out in the ponies forum (which is dead except for a few of us) sharing a few winners once in awhile & the GD forum where jokes, crazy stories and experiences get passed along. The % of idiots is higher in the GD forum I think but....hey whaddya gonna do?
Hopefully we can recruit others for the holiday care plans. I think it's a little weird that so few want to get involved because it's such a great way to help others. So many in here talk regularly about their wealth but won't throw in a hundy to help fellow Americans in need.
I wish someone would explain it to me.
