Rich they only things that concern me with Sugar is a) his age and b) how bad he looked against Mayorga. I Think Danno said it best. Berto reminds me of Jeff Lacy before he met Joe C. He will also remind me of Lacy after Sugar Shane!

Rich I have to agree a very intruging fight. As you know I am European. I have lived in 8 European countries for a 1 year stretch each time, I just love sampling different cultures. So you might think I am cheering Mikkel. Thing is I like Mikkel. He is a really likeable guy.
The thing is though I aint Danish and I love boxing so much. I respect fighters like Abraham and Kessler but if they were to win this its bad for the Super 6 and its bad for boxing.
Fighters Like Kessler and Abraham, nice guys, VERY technically sound boxers BUT. The European style of boxing does not inspire. How many Europeans are on the P4P list, the all time list!? Very few. This tournament needs to create a new superstar. I pray Andre Ward is that man. If not this tourament could get very boring very fast. A Ward win really sets this whole thing up. Dirrell would get great solice from a Ward win and I like Dirrell against Abraham I really do, especially if Ward wins. Dirrell would do what Taylor did for 5 rounds but do it longer. He is a nightmare matchup for AA...

Mikael you will see very few board members say that Kessler is not very good. He is. But he is NOT special. If he wins this tournament then its because the Andre's were never good ennough at this level, Froch is too one dimensional and Abraham like Kessler is Very good but Nothing special. I guarentee you that if Kessler fought B-Hop he would lose a VERY one sided decision. Calzaghe showed Kessler can be outboxed. Yes Joe was good but I guarentee you Chad Dawson would do the same to Kessler. So would Paul Williams.
Kessler can only go so far. He will never be a all time great and in my eyes he will never be high up on the pound for pound list today. If the Andre's are exposed as way out of their depth then this tournament will not produce a new superstar. Dirrell has potential that I know and if he can fight in a more postive manner then he could cause a surprise against AA.
Ward in my eyes has all the natural talent in the world. If he can preform at the highest level he will reach a standard Mikkel can only dream off. However I have seen MANY naturally gifted boxers not being abkle to cut it when the heat is on. Its not easy to be great. I myself had many fights as an amateur and no one respects these guys more then me. To even get to that level is an awesome achievement.

Guys the money making fights are Mosley v Betto/Kessler v Froch/Mayweather v Pacman. There is where we spa nk the books. So if you playing Ward be careful, I have quite a bit on it but I can afford it. Never bet what you cant afford. Sorry dudes I am drunk as usual on a Saturday. Good luck all!!
