Nice! Congrats to those on Lopez. I'll say this,  thats the scariest -400 I've ever been part of.

After thought---. Lopez big puncher with huge heart but needs to improve on his Defense. I told Marquez to quit so I could cash my Under bet.

Nah. Those last two rounds Lopez had the hounds on him.

Lopez totally adapted to the mistake he was making which was when he [Lopez] threw his left hook he dropped his right hand and boop, left hook finds its mark. But as you should have noticed, as the fight progressed Lopez moved into the crease with tight guard and kept the right higher than before.

Marquez was fighting with a bad right shoulder the whole fight.  If he had been healthy, Lopez would be on the canvas and exposed like every other PR fighter.

If Marquez couldn't use counter punches to exploit that weakness, I doubt anyone else can right now. He's too big and will steamroll people like he did tonight. Gamboa might be able to move and counter enough to dance through the raindrops. That fight is very high on my wish list as of now. If Gamboa was + money, he would be my wager for sure.

Gamboa/Lopez is happening in June.  Arum has stated in the past and in tonights interview they will have Lopez fight in PR in early 2011, then a fight with Gamboa in June.

Did you notice the way Marquez was trying to wait and land the big counter-punches? It was really a beautiful strategy to watch. Unfortunately for him, moving up in weight, negated some of his power. A bigger puncher (in that weight class) probably would have scored the KO.
