Hmmm.. All these attractive props on Floyd what's the public to do??? I know, run the other way!
The only way I can see Marquez losing this fight is if he gets a bad cut and it goes to the cards early or the judges rob him later on. It will take him a few rounds to settle in but once that happens you will see Floyd exploited and perhaps Ko'd.
Don't kid yourself people Floyd is here for the paycheck and will fold if pressed.
I LOVE this kind of CONFIDENCE!!
Don't think I would say that Floyd's just in it for a Payday (Funny, most are saying that about JMM) but if it comes down to strictly grit & determination.... I rather be on Marquez.
Floyd would rather give up 600,000 bucks then come in at the contracted weight of 144? Not the classiest of moves for a World Champion. I guess he read all the posts in this forum about having a 10 to 15 lb advantage on fight night, & decided that sounded like a great idea . He must feel he needs every edge he can get (fair or unfair). That is just going to make people root harder against him.

Wow docked $600,000 for being two pounds over the weight. This worries me as how hard was it for Floyd to make 146?
Health wise it was smarter for him to be docked 600K than dehydrate himself and look like Oscar De La Hoya did.
Glad I didn't pull the trigger yet, I'm sure the price will go down now and increase the prop odds.
For those who are on Marquez, look at the prop odds, if it's juicy for Floyd, it's even JUICER for Marquez.
Let's not bash either fighter, it does NO ONE any good, let's share information that pertains to the fight.
Well first of all, I don't considering it bashing at all. I'm just point out the obvious. That this is a bullshit maneuver by Floyd. He never had any intention or new early on that he wasn't going to make the contracted weight, and I'm just calling it like it is. If you want to be a Floyd apologist or make light of this go right ahead, it's still bullshit and 600K isn't enough of a penalty to compare as to how this will affect the fight.
Second of all, this is going to drive the price up on your charge as anyone who knows two shits about boxing or making weight now know the POS they are backing didn't have to struggle to the finish line but rather coasted to the comfortable weight of 2 lbs. over the limit. What kind of shit is that?
No matter, this just makes it a little bit bigger of a tree JMM is going to have to chop down. He'll just have to bring a bigger axe with him to the ring now.

And for the record I'd just as soon get all over Juan as I did Floyd if he somehow pulled the same shit.
