That doesn't make sense to me. Under 10.5 is a winner and the fight made it to the 11th round. Explain it. I rarely make wagers on how a fight ends.
For someone touting himself as the a boxing betting genius, you sure don't know much about boxing wagering.
Look closely at that line. There's a .5 written after the 10. 10.5 > 10. This half is comprised of the first half of the eleventh round. At 1:30 into the eleventh round, the fight has gone 10.5 rounds. If it stops before that point, as it did in Bute-Berrio, then under 10.5 is a winner. You should probably learn some of this stuff so that you can make more educated plays. Sometimes there's better value on the over/under, and you won't have to drop $2000 on the fight to win just $300.

I'm asking a question...The answer was great. But stop spreading lies as in your first sentence there. Love for you to find where I say i'm a boxing genius. I'll be the first one to admit I'm not even close to a boxing genius. But I have won consistently and relatively big the last year. Far more than anyone else I've seen on here. Stop hating me for it. How much are you up the last year?

Sorry, Snippets, I guess I was being a little harsh. I was just annoyed that you seemed to be questioning Fullbrights' integrity in grading his wager even after he'd already explained why the fight had gone under 10.5 rounds.
Regarding comparisons of our wagering winnings, I find that inappropriate, as the goal here is to beat the sportsbooks, not each other. If you're interested in how I've done since I started posting my plays in August, you can check out my threads.
Also, I'd like for you to keep posting plays, as I'm interested about whether you can make money on chalk long-term. But if you're going to post plays, people on this forum don't like it when you claim plays that you didn't post. Either post them all, or don't boast at all.

"Regarding comparisons of our wagering winnings, I find that

People falsely & self-deceptively attempting to compete w/ each other; when they areactually only betting vs. the House. I dropped 1 unit & change last week. That's how it went. But cracking-back on someone else won't recover me a single cent. Too bad there is not even an elixir, much less a cure for all of this, b/c this same ole jealous illness sure sickens thread after thread here on Covers.com.

I don't doubt you are up more money than anyone else here on the boxing
board on posted plays. I am not to say what others units are, but mine
are only $100 a pop. You won't find any of the regulars that lay the
type of money you do on chalk for their betting strategy. You
regularly lay upwards of $500 to win smaller amounts on faves, few
people have the luxury of laying over 2 g's to win $500. For example if
I were to lay $500 a unit on the way that I bet I would have been up
over $2500 for just the past weekend. It wouldn't have been possible to lay that much anyway with the crappy limits that boxing bettors have to put up with for prop bets. Trust me if I was betting $500 a
unit on the dogs that I play and winning consistently as I do it
wouldn't be long before my limits were cut even lower than the
minuscule amount boxing bettors have to put up with already. Books
don't look to kindly on people who are able to consistently win putting
up less money to win on dogs in large dollar amounts.
I am an interested observer into the long term success of your
betting strategy and encourage you to keep documenting all of your
plays. I have never seen anyone able to win over the long haul with a
betting strategy that you use, but there is a first time for
everything and I hope you continue to profit.

I agree to an extent Bigeiii.
This isn't prevalent on the boxing board, but go to any of the big betting sports boards (Football, Basketball, Baseball) and the talk is rediculous. People follow others plays blindly when they are winning and then go back after a loss and go on rampages talking about what a loser they are or what a terrible pick that it was. No one is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to follow their advice.
I completely agree though with posts that point out fallacies in posters records or point out the fact that people love to boast winners but rarely aim up to the fact when they lose. Whether you like it or not posters look towards others for advice on bets and it is wrong if they are basing plays on a narrow glittery scope of things.
I hope that everyone on Covers wins and takes it to the books, that's why I and others all post plays on here. I could quietly place my bets and post them no where, but then only I would win. I have never had a losing year betting boxing so why not fully disclose bets and units wagered for others, this puts in black and white that they can win also betting the same way.
