I know it must be hard for hopkins to do business with someone like this, I bet you it bothers hopkins everyday. it tells you the power that money has over almost everybody, bernard thinks mma is is slightly gay, men in tights rolling around with each other, oscar's got that beat by a long shot, deal with this fairy and make millions must be his mindset.

Hopkins..."MMA IS GAY ENTERTAINMENT". Such a skilled athlete and boxing legend should use some discretion. I'm all for speaking your mind, but Hopkins shows poor judgement when he makes certain statements. I'm not sure if he is looking to make headlines or he really believes what he says at times. MMA is a skilled disciplined sport and to be the best you need the talent, dedication and fight strategy for each opponent just like boxing. Sometimes even more so because people lacking ground-skills that have an opponent that is a great wrestler or jiu-jitsu fighter needs a fight plan and several fundamentals for ground work (more of what not to do than what to do; this way avoiding easy submissions or arm/leg-bar). I have no clue what is going on with Oscar from meltdowns to weird stories. Personally, I only care about what he did in the ring and he made the biggest PPV revenues by fighting the top fighters in different weight classes (losing most; many were very close) and promoting other fights. Although he wasn't great outside lightweight, he ducked no one and fought his best. Now you have Mayweather (with all the talent and a high boxing IQ) with ability to beat anyone, but chose to fight out-classed, smaller, or over-the-hill opponents and his PPV revenues are through the roof. He had the option to make some of the greatest fights happen, but for a decade he chose to be undefeated and promote his fights that were over before they started!
