Mosley is going to surprise a lot of people next saturday. I've got the over 10.5 big and I'm also playing Mosley for a little.

What mystifies me is why Pacman is meeting Hatton at 140.

Why not an agreed weight like 137.5?
Thats halfway between the two weights.

Pacquiao fought his last fight at welterweight, so he's dropping down a few pounds.  For Oscar, he weighed in at 142, and now he has to be 140.  I'd be shocked if you ever saw Manny below 140 again.

Danno, you miss the point.
 
Pacmans weight class is 135. Oscars was about 155.
When they met at 147 it was a compromise for each fighter.
Hattons weight class is 140.

If they meet at 140 Hatton is the larger guy, and he is not even compromising his optimum weight.
 
If Pacman meets Hatton at 140 he will be at a significant disadvantage.
 
137.5 would be halfway for each man.

My point is that Pacquiao is not a lightweight.  He had as many fights at 135 (1) as he did at 147 (1).  He's looked strong and fast at every weight, so I don't think there is any advantage, let alone a significant one.

The fight is for the ring magazine belt at 140....It will go off.

Pacquiao is adamant about a 60/40 split.  He agreed to 50/50 originally, but once some people grabbed his ear, he has said he will not fight for that split.  This is a non-starter.  Hatton is just as much of a draw.  From Bob Arum:
 
"They're all blaming it on Manny," stated Arum. "But from my standpoint, Hatton is contributing this enormous pay-per-view revenue, which without him wouldn't be contributed. So that's why he entitled to 50-50, plus the gate. I don't know who is now advising Pacquiao and why Pacquiao is doing what he's doing. I think it'll all get sorted out, but right now if he persists in that - there's no fight."
 
In other news, how about Khan vs. Barrera in March?  Khan and his people better hope that Barrera is totally shot. 
 
Love the Kirkland vs. Julio fight.  I like Julio big in that one.

Definitely agree with your Julio take.  It should be a war and Julio will have the stationary target that he needs.
