Couldn't agree more. Taylor knows the critics are mounting and he will come up clutch against a guy that finally suits his style.

I took KP ITD, & JT via Decision. (both parlayed w/ college fb, & other boxing bouts).

I somehow keep wondering if KP will actually force the best outta JT??? Make JT fight & crack a bit I mean. Though, that typed, I'm realllllly wondering where the improvement under my boy Manny Stew is??? Not seeing it makes me wanna lower JT's stock. In fact JT may have regressed.

Yeah, in the Ams with Taylor winning a decision.  I have heard that neither guy really did much of anything.

I couldnt agree more about JT not improving here he is with the best trainer in the world and he looks worse every fight.He obviously doent listen  to to E.S. or he wouldn of fought Miranda instead of Cory Sphinks.

I am staying with Pavlik for no real reason other than a hunch.  Looks like I got demoted to zero bars for inactivity.  Apparently all past deeds are a dirty rag in the eyes of the Covers gods.

That twas the Klits (& several others) run that a.dub went on about 2 summers ago; JIC you don't know what I mean. Most I've ever seen bet & won. I've won some, but that was more than a little thicker than my wallet's ever been.

Finally a fight to talk about what  aboring couple months. Going to stick it out i think with my boy JT although the regression over the last year is real concerning. Get into it by the weekend.

I have a gut feeling I lost some favor due to playing that Wagerline crap, trying to hit the 20 in a row, and losing like 4 straight pre-season games.  So, if you guys are doing that thing, keep that in mind.

I just watched Pavlik-Miranda.  I didn't bother to watch any of JT's stuff.  I know what he brings.
 
Pavlik is going to give Taylor a tough time.  He is always moving forward and rolls his head and shoulders very effectively to minimize his opponent's power.  Taylor is going to have fight backing up.  I don't think JT has the fire power to keep Pavlik off him.
 
I have been disappointed with JT's activity level in fights.  He tends to fight in spurts and has a difficult time taking charge.  Pavlik should be the effective aggressor and get ahead early.
 
Now, Pavlik does keep his left hand way too low at times.  And, he tends to take too many shots.  Good news for him is, if he can take MIranda's punches Taylor should be a cakewalk. 
 
Taylor's speed will be his only advantage, IMO - not to say Pavlik is slow.  To win, Taylor will have to fight a perfect fight, stealing rounds and being more accurate.  I think there is value in Pavlik, and I would make him a -130 favorite, perhaps more.

I may get more dec. action.  Taylor will move and will not take the punishment that most of Pavlik's opponents did.

well here is my conclusion about this fight.First off all you made very good bets Alwayswin.Everyone is talking about Pavlik being the first strong oponnent for Taylor.I agree, but you must think that Taylor will be the FIRST REAL test for Pavlik as well .Pavlik has looked good against hittable oponnents like Zertuche,Miranda and Fulgencio zuniga.NONE of those fighters can compare with Taylor.Pavlik TOOK 7 ROUNDS to ko Miranda, 8 ROUNDS to ko Zertuche, and i already watched Ross Thompson against Pavlik on youtube, and he was able to go the distance, when Fernando Vargas ko Thompson in 4.Lol the funny thing is that nobody talk about that fight with Thompson. Guys the logic says this fight will go the DISTANCE, both fighters will be ready, and i know Taylor will look way better than before.So the best bet here is the over 11.5 . I went to the conclusion that Pavlik can get the decision here, because hes more active, and will steal lots of rounds, specially the last 3 rounds.Here are my bets for Saturday

Pavlik by dec  $300 to win $$1,500.00

Pavlik to win $$200 to win $230

Taylor/Pavlik draw $50 to win $850.00

Taylor by dec $250 to win $675.00

Taylor/Pavlik over 11.5  $300 to win $330

Parlay( 3 team) Chad Dawson,Pavlik,Andre Berto $200 to win $400.00

I expect Pavlik to win by dec here,if he does i make big money,If Taylor win by dec im covered, and added the daw,so if i hit Pavlik by dec and my parlay i can make more than $2000, so good luck guys and alwayswin.

What about Ponce De Leon's first-round KO of a Bautista?  Penalosa's KO of Gonzalez?  Ding-a-ling Man's KO of Nwodo?  Arce's KO of Rojas?  Cotto's KO of Judah?

I could go on, but these recent examples spring to mind.  They're all instances of powerful shots knocking out somebody who would likely win a foot and hand speed contest against the opponent.

Terrible matchup for Taylor. Pavlik is strong....will pressure, has a great chin, probably more power than anyone Taylor has faced.....and he's hungry. I think Pavlik knocks him out inside 10, but I'm just gonna play Pavlik +135. Also take a look at the line, most people don't even know Pavlik. Vegas is going to make a killing from all the Taylor money coming in....I'm more confident than I've been for a long time on this pick!

I'm staying off this one most likely. Though I think Taylor takes it. Pavlik is going to be on the offense and Taylor will counter all night to a UD IMO. I MIGHT bet to win $100, but I doubt it, as Taylor is already sneaking into the -145 range..  It's really hard for me to see past the hype of Pavlik as it might just end up not being hype.  We'll see tomorrow.

The over sounds good.  I doubt Pavlik KO's Taylor. 

Comparing Pavlik to Winky is the biggest miscomparsion I've heard in a while.

i have never in my life bet on a boxing fight .. but im taking Jermain 'BAD INTENTIONS' Taylor in this one.  When Pavlik tries to get close .. he will get a quick ONE TWO to the jaw  ..  every time

I have a question for the forum. Does anyone know where one might be able to see how many bets have been placed on each fighter? Similar to the consensus that we have here on covers for the major sports. The reason I ask is, the line is moving towards Taylor....he's becoming a bigger underdog.....yet everything I have read on the web has the majority of the public and boxing writers on Pavlik. I would imagine this is because the novice bettors who know nothing about boxing recognize Taylor's name and what looks to be a low line. If anyone has a read please post, thanks.
