Pavlik is too solid and Hopkins is too old, so someone is going down around the 8th or 9th I think

PsyYoda......I see one of them getting knocked out...no way Hopkins can last if he doesn't knock this guy out.  On the other hand, if Hopkins comes out ducking and dodging (which I don't think he can do because he doesn't want to go out on this fight looking like a bitch etc etc etc.)....then it's a risk I'm willing to take, but I don't see it happening.

If someone is getting koed is Pavlik.Everyone thought Hopkins would lose to Tarver or getting ko, and look what happended,Pavlik has no defense, and this is the real test for Pavlik, believe me ,it wont be easy for him.Just ask Winky, Tarver, Trinidad.
 
Winky was supposed to easily beat Hopkins, Tarver and Trinidad were supposed to ko Hopkins.
 
Do you think Hopkins is old, yes youre right,but he landed clean punches to Calzaghe, a real dificult southpaw, bottom line is Hopkins has seen it all and Pavlik is EASIER for him.THERES NO WAY PAVLIK KO HOPKINS PERIOD.

Pavlik is going to destroy Hopkins.His jab will control the fight and not allow Hopkins to do that run in throw a shot and hold nonsense. I think Pavlik will KO him because he hits too hard and will hit Hopkins a lot in this fight.

HBO wants Pavlik to win.  They have too much invested in Kelly to let him lose.  Hopkins is the fall guy.  He's happy losing by decision.  He got his big house and his wife and he knows his age.  He actually shows respect to Pavlik.  Hopkins is on Vegas's payroll.  Finally, the one thing Benard doesn't do tho is get KO'd.

There will be no fix in this fight, Hopkins was beat by Taylor, Pavlik knocked Taylor out, I was at both Pavlik /Taylor fights. Pavlik will end this fight in under 11.5 rounds. If anyone wants to take me up on this bet send me a message and let's talk money.If BHop stays and fights and doesn't run he will be knocked out.

Just to make sure everyone's aware Pavlik/Hopkins is taking place at a 170 LB catch weight. This might not seem like a big deal if you don't really follow boxing all that much but trust me this makes it even more unlikely that this fight ends in KO.
 
Pavlik has a very thin frame and I don't see him bringing much more power up to 170. He's a KO machine at 160 but this 10 lbs will make a huge difference. For an example look at Taylor 2. He couldn't KO Taylor at the 166 catch weight after beating the crap out of him at 160.
 
Bernard will come into the fight as the bigger man and he's a defensive master. Pavlik isn't the slickest boxer either- he's more or less a 1-2 robot and your not going to KO Bernard like that.

Bernard's recent outings have given him a false sense of confidence. He beat Tarver (old and out of shape), beat Wright (old and out of shape), and had a close fight with Calzaghe (lucky knockdown). All 3 were southpaws and old. Throw in the fact that Bernard finally showed his age against Calzaghe and we have a recipe for disaster. Bernard has good lateral movement (which troubles Pavlik), but lateral movement requires legs, and at the age of 43, Bernards legs will be gone past the 5th round. Pavlik by 9th round KO.

Good pick, Hat.  Good value in case this thing does get stopped.  If B-Hop gets in big trouble, the ref is going to protect him and stop it quick.
