Big weekend in Vegas this week. I've had a few units on Marquez for a while (Doh!) and like him Saturday night in an exciting yet technical fight. I definitely never saw the line creeping to where it is now, but I think I'm done betting JMM at this point. I like Gabi a bit, but I am going to hold out for a better line; I saw where Sportsbook had it +400 and I wouldn't mind seeing it rise to that at my books. I sure wanted a Montano line at high + odds against D. Diaz; I think he stands a good shot at winning the non-title affair after what I have heard from his time in Manny's camp.
Tonight .75 of a unit on Bobby P. (+230) vs Antillon See thoughts in other thread.
Friday 1.25 units on Barnes (+140) vs Bami Hometown and naturally bigger guy. I've only seen both once and out the two I would say Barnes was the more talented guy.
Saturday 1 unit on Marquez (+155) vs Manny P. 2 units on Marquez (+160) vs Manny P. 1 unit on Marquez (+175) vs Manny P. I've talked about this fight a few times in various threads. Basically it comes down to the fact I think Marquez is superior technically and will be able to box well outside. Plus, I don't think he's lost anything at all since their last matchup. Yes, he's been more crowd pleasing as of late, but he knows what he has to do here.
Friday and Saturday parlay .75 of a unit to win 1.01 Huerta (-320) Nakamori (-440) Over 10.5 in Gabi-Mares (-220)

Lol, I hit the post button too quick after copying and pasting my futures from last week's thread. I added more this week on Casa and the Cotto under which I am done betting.

Threw SSS in w/ PManJr (whom I don't like; but he does have homecourt) with the 2 above chalks for Friday that Fullbrights has listed, w/ the UP on my Hokies buying 20 points, as we are so young, you just kan't be sure.

Also gonna Play/Parlay the JMM points handicap+16.5 w/ tomorrow nites PPV and ACC hoops. SL, Diaz for sure (his guy has unpluged Voltage), might even reverse my overhead Total thinking and try the little Abner Gabi UP. Still considering how to play Pac-Man, might just go for the points handicap there, and try to middle this decision.

Added a bit more on Barnes at a lower line and took Montano to upset the odds against Diaz.
.5 of a unit on Barnes (+125) vs Bami
.25 of a unit on Montano (+700) vs Diaz Montano's not a puncher at all, but a very tough out. A non-title look ahead spot for Diaz who I view as a weak titleholder anyway. Doug Fischer did a nice piece on Montano's sparring with Manny a few weeks ago, this is a big shot for Montano and he is ready from what I hear.

May add more on Montano, hopefully Diaz gets lumped into a bunch of parlays and the odds rise.

SSS uncharacteristically destroyed his guy. Works for me. No real news there, no real advancement, kinda staying slightly busy. Nice regional guy, not much else.

Great
play on Barnes. He soundly defeated Bami with superior boxing skills.
Barnes got nicked a couple of times, but he was landing effective
counter combinations through most of the fight. Bami just comes
forward in a crude manner, as if he has no fight plan. The
commentators suggested that his lack of education (read: intelligence)
may contribute to his poor fighting style.

Appreciate it. Yeah, I was trying to get an update on ESB, but no one was cooperating. What was it on? I didn't think I saw it listed on streamtvnow yesterday when I looked.

It was on streamtv. They had it listed on the schedule below the Beyer fight when I checked this afternoon. I saw the fight from the third round on. I think they were a little late putting up the stream today.

.75 of a unit to win 1.01 Huerta (-320) Nakamori (-440) Over 10.5 in Gabi-Mares (-220)
Just got home a bit ago and didn't see the fight. I must say I'm
pretty surprised. Huerta too me looked like a different fighter during
and after his "loss" to Kid Diamond. Even though Jauregui won his last
fight via KO I thought he looked horrible against Guzman and equally as
bad when he got out boxed by Reyes after having him down in the 1st
last year. Good for Jauregui, definitely didn't see this happening.
Up .86 of a unit heading into tomorrow's big card.

I went ahead and threw another $50 on Montano over Diaz because it didn't look like the odds were going to move any higher.
So now have......
.75 of a unit on Montano (+700) vs Diaz See explanation above. IMO, if Montano loses it will be close and he has a good shot at pulling this off.
