2006 Results (March-July): +19.2 units (+$1,920)
2007 Results: +42.25 units (+$4,225) Last Week: +8.76 units units (+$876) 2008 to Date: -11.22 units (-$1,122)
Definitely a very light slate of action this weekend. It's pretty bad when the best card to watch of the weekend features 10-1 faves in both matchups.
Tonight (Posted it in the WNF thread earlier) .75 of a unit on Cherry ITD (+254) vs Johnston
Saturday 1.25 units on Hatton-Juan under 10.5 rounds (+105)

GL FB. My lean on tonight's fight is the under too, especially at such favorable odds. I'd say Johnston's pretty much burnt toast these days.
Appreciate it. Yeah, that's my thinking. In fights that I saw of him recently he took a SERIOUS beating from V. Harris, had a pretty rugged close fight against the very average T. Harris, and just from reading it looked like Reyes beat him down pretty bad also.

This stupid game took about 3 hours. Nothing worse than 2 extra times and a penalty shootout to draw things out. Come on ESPN, you played it live earlier. Everyone knows what happened.

LOL, you mean that wasn't even their first time broadcasting it today? What a joke.
Some equilibrium shot KO by Edwards just now. That left hand hit the temple and short circuited everything.

Unlucky A2C. I think Cherry could have landed that bomb a few rounds earlier. I don't know why he waited until the last 30 seconds.
Nice hit Fullbrights. Do you have an account at 5 Dimes? They opened the Cherry by KO prop at +398.
My only bet on boxing this weekend is really shitty. I bet some on Lazcano. I could not pass up the +850 odds, especially after I heard Hatton had been sick for a couple of weeks.
I have a shit load of money on the UFC.
Good luck all.

Congrats FB, you had it right. I was on the under.
That sucks man. Lol, I actually was watching the fight in the bedroom last night and fell asleep around round six. I was beat. When I saw the result this morning I felt bad for the under betting crowd. I may have actually done the same if the under number would have been +250 when I went to bet the fight, but it was +215 so there was no use since Cherry would be the only one ending it early in my mind.
Was the knock down in the 9th of the hard variety, because the one in round three really wasn't. Reads like it was a brutal KO, tried to find it on youtube, but it wasn't on there. I'll take this one, with 26 seconds to spare.

Appreciate it. Yeah, 5dimes and thegreek are the only two sites I use currently. I guess I was late to the party then as far as the number is concerned, +398 would have been even nicer, but that is where the number was when I got home from work.
Don't see how Lazcano wins outside of a Hatton cut and it would have to be a gusher for the doc to stop it over there. Any bets you really like on the UFC card?

There are 3 underdog fights that I love.
Ortiz to beat Machida. Machida is really good but he has never had to fight someone with Tito's takedowns. Machida is almost never on his back, I think Tito can put him there and possibly ground and pound his way to a win.
Jardine to beat Silva. I just think Silva has been involved in too many wars. He is not the same fighter he was 2 years ago and he will have trouble with these BIG UFC guys like Jardine.
Nakamura to beat Sokadju. Sok looks like a beast, Nak looks like a chubby wimp but I believe he is a better grappler than Sok and he also has better stamina. If Nak can last the first couple of minutes, Sok will be in trouble.
My Hatton bet is for penny's but the UFC is big money.
Good luck.

Good luck. I threw $50 on Ortiz, hopefully Dana doesn't pull something on him since it is his last UFC fight.
I'm done for the week and will be back around these parts Monday. Headed on a camping trip with some family.

Ortiz to beat Machida... Don't expect anything maverick from Tito. Tito has not produced anything amazing in his last few fights. Same old stuff.
Remember, If Tito eats a few shots and feels pain, he is likely to be more concerned with staying on his feet, I think and not leaving the UFC KO'ed. Remember he is going to try continue his career elsewhere in MMA.
The judges will be siding with Lyoto if it goes the distance.
Its Lyoto or no action for me on that fight...

1.25 units on Hatton-Juan under 10.5 rounds (+105)
Well I finally got to see the fight, never really thought the under had a real chance upon finally viewing. Those were some semi-rocky moments in the 8th and 10th for Hatton. Yeah he won convincingly, but his defensive lapses were worrisome.
Won .65 of a unit on the week.
Did lose $50 on Tito, MMA is just not my thing.
