I am with you on the Vlad analysis. IMO, the money going on Sultan is public, bigtime. Vlad has struggled against fighters that have one-punch power. Many people are probably thinking that this is Sanders-Vlad all over again. Not even close.
When the southpaw Sanders was in shape, many people thought he was among the hardest hitters in the division, if not the hardest. He lit Vlad up with two straight lefts that left him on queer street. Devastating blows.
Vlad has improved a lot since then. And, IMO, Ibragimov's a marginal heavyweight puncher...nowhere near a Brewster, Peter or Sanders. He never hurt Holyfield, and Holy stood directly in front of him for 12 rounds with 45-year old reflexes. He employed a gun and run offense against Holy that will not work with Vlad due to the size disadvantage.
I just can't see how Sultan can keep this competitive. He is too small and way outmatched. I expect Vlad will win by KO, but my shitty book doesn't offer it and I waited this out to -350. At those odds, I don't see much value in taking the iffy KO at -150. I was gonna nail this at -550, that's how confident I am.
So, risking this week's winnings of 3800 to win 1085, Vlad to win.

Good to see you weighing in, don't worry about that "Fat Wolf" bet. I believe that you will get that money back tonight.
We will see what happens tonight. Wlad will always be one of those guys that you are nervous betting on no matter how good you feel about it. I think this is the first time I have bet on Wlad since the Brewster debacle, though I did bet the second Brewster fight and the Austin fight to go under.

IF Wlad can look lighter on this feet, he nano is 2nite.
Seeing the Dudddddy cut, that could possibly should have been a TKO against Duddddddy.
Sultan is right there when he reaches in w/ the left to the body of Wlad for Wlad to crush him with his right. How tired and iced down must Wlad's Left be after 80 billion lead Jabs? I give Round 1 to Sultan, now 5-1 Wlad.

How was the turn out? Any decent fighters or big KO's?
Turn out was pretty good honestly. Got there 25 mins late, and still had to wait outside 20 mins before I got in.
Normally there is piss for good matches in these things, but there were quite a few fights that were pretty close and went 3 rds, and the last fight was pretty good - Two guys who obviously had some ring experience (based on the way I saw them fight compared to the rest) went at it pretty good for three rounds. They were both pretty cut, so I think they saved them for last for a reason, but it was worth it.
I love going people watching at those things though. . . Whoa buddy.
Your gym was well represented there too. I hope they benefited nicely, they ran a pretty good show. I was impressed.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda. Second week in a row where I give back money on KO props in a fight I feel that I was pretty spot on with. I knew Iggy wasn't in his league, but I think I along with Manny thought he would make the statement he needed to in a fight which was actually meaningful. If you would have told me before the fight that Iggy wins at most 2 rounds and sees the final bell, I would have said no way, but that's the way it goes sometimes.
LOL
Won .14 of a unit for the week. A measly $14.
