All plays and units wagered posted&#xD;&#xA;2006 Results (March-July): &#x2B;19.2 units (&#x2B;$1,920)&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;Last Week: &#x2B;4.19 units ($419)&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;2007 to date: &#x2B;33.48 units (&#x2B;$3,348)Well, I will be catching up on watching last week&#x27;s action this weekend, but I also like what we have on tap live this weekend even though it isn&#x27;t much.  Soto-Guzman should be a barnburner.  I like Guzman&#x27;s boxing ability here, I know Soto is tough, but I really don&#x27;t think he is a legit top level guy.  Anybody who struggles against Bobby Pac for a spell isn&#x27;t that great in my book.  I got an early low limit  5dimes line on that one, the line initially rose close to 2-1, but it is now back down to near -150.  I played Buendia tonight on Versus over at thegreek, it&#x27;s still at &#x2B;275; far too wide in my opinion.  I thought about taking the over in the Rahman fight, but I&#x27;m not sure if Lawrence has any chin at all anymore. IF I could find Buendia at 3:1 or more, I might give that side a sniff. He has something of a shot here, but I need a better ROI.

I lean towards agrying on Guzman. But I'm waiting to play that one.

With the roll that Dunkin managed fighters have been on lately he might could throw you in there and come out with a win. I don't think you will see the number climb to +300 anywhere, but I have been wrong before. I still think the odds are way too wide as is.

I would play Oruh straight up sticking with my always bet a "real" boxer over a football crossover philosophy, but his chin is crap; this is why I was actually considering an Abell ITD play, but I think I will just stick with the under. A point against playing Figueroa, betting on a Buddy McGirt fighter has not been a good thing as of late.On the Hoffman-Dimitrenko fight.  I have seen both in action several times, Hoffman is the old stereotypical European heavyweight; a very slow plodder with some decent pop.  I am not sold on Dimitrenko&#x27;s chin, but he should win a decision nod here as he much more skilled than Timo.

Adding....&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;1.8 units on under 9.5 rounds in Ward-Cantrell (-120)&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;I don&#x27;t know much at all about Cantrell, but I love betting against&#xD;&#xA;NW/MW regionally based fighters to not last long against fighters with&#xD;&#xA;a strong pedigree.  I think that Ward is much more powerful at 168 then&#xD;&#xA;he was at 160, I really think he was struggling to make middleweight. &#xD;&#xA;I think this fight is made for Ward to look very good and exciting.

Hofman is hard to stop. So I suppose that qualifies him as live enough to hang around most if not the whole way. & I was just looking at the Weigh-In stills. Alex has a CCCP superHeavy frame, but not (yet) a superHeavy body. He can really fill out in time. & even though they are my boys, I still have to wonder how the Klitschko's are that big (Wald all the more). But I do like Alex's hand-speed, it's not lightening fast, but it might be the fastest of any of the superHeavys out there. I would not try going against Alex. He has homecourt, so only Timo ITD can win. (try that if you must go against)

I took FF out in a min.wager Parlay. I'm not real sold on either guy here, kinda a least bad siding on my part. HTH's s69.

I'll agry on that LOW Fbs. As Ward's chin is circumspect, Cantrell is the bigger guy even w/ Ward rising up in Wt.Class.

Cantrell is really not much of a light heavy Bigs, he had 3 fights at 175 and just two years ago was regularly making the 160 lb limit.  Ward is a different fighter at 168, I think that you will see that tonight.  From what I hear from a couple of Cali sources he has really shown himself to be a different fighter in this 2007 off-TV run that he has been on at 168 lbs, I am looking forward to seeing for myself tonight. Interesting that both HBO headliners were 2/10ths over, but Guzman dropped more to get down. (which if one side could ever pull an intended Toledo mishap, this would be quite the oddball head-game swerve to pull on the other side).

I&#x27;m watching Jhonny Gonzalez right now on Telefutura, he really needs to move up to 122.  He is not the same fighter at 118 anymore.  The heavy chalk layers should be glad that odds weren&#x27;t offered here, they would be sweating their small return; I am sure Gonzalez would have been around -2000 or so.I have it 3-3 through 6 rounds.

Close fight, Gonzalez had a point deducted in the 10th for low blows and then came on very strong to close the fight. I can see the 96-93 card, but the two 98-91 are off IMO. Crowd booing a bit. I am glad that Jhonny won, I bet against him with Gerry and will continue to do so if he stays at 118 lbs.

Yep, class showed mightily like I said. Stoppage may have been 5-10 seconds too early, but it was just a matter of time; that was easy work for Andre. Ward is much more solid at 168 lbs, he should have been there from the beginning of his pro career.

Should be an interesting heavyweight matchup, WAR under.

I definitely didn't see the fight being fought at that pace in the early rounds. Under bettors needed the 9th and 10th round pace earlier in the fight. Bad call on my part, usually with these football crossovers you expect a knock out or get knocked out type of pace, but there was a lot more dance to Abell than I thought there would be. Neither guy had been past 6 before, but you would have never thought that to be the case tonight.

Won .55 of a unit on the Shobox card tonight, down .20 of a unit for the week headed into tomorrow.

Way to cover both potential outcome props.  I take it you pulled in a small profit on the decision since it was small &#x2B; money if your hoops chalk came through, no way to ever tell with you.  Bold move taking Cintron next week.Looks like the Tigers won&#x27;t get a chance at that Hokie rematch, I hope that you all beat the Cavs next week; I definitely don&#x27;t want to see BC win the conference and think you all would have a much better chance at beating them then Groh&#x27;s guys.On a sidenote, how funny was Lennox tonight.  He continues to take the former athlete/terrible announcer stereotype to a whole new level.  He definitely provides some comic relief.

On a more somber note, my Clemson Tigers continue to disappoint. I said last week that they would lose to BC, but once again I got my hopes up only to be brought back down to the stink of a mediocre bowl once again. It's pretty bad when you don't really care about a game against your biggest rival, but that's the point I'm at tonight. I feel bad for Tommy, he's a nice guy, but he just can't win a meaningful game.

I have to say, that was a little easier for the Guzile than I expected. I kinda though (and +$$$ hoped, from a pure ROI perspective). I kinda thought that somewhere over the course of 36 minutes that Soto might finally get something fiarly good sized, or maybe even big to land on Guzman. He did not. Guz' is pretty dang slick, and for as long as his wheels can motor him around, he will be a tough out, as he's just so darn hard to catch.

& BTW, it reads like D.Hops continues to be the best of the legacy fighters out there right now.

Good week, could have been better if the ShoBox Heavyweight LOW had come thru. (but those guys froze up under the unfamiliar TV spotlight)
