Shit like this fight is why boxing is in such awful shape. No wonder MMA is so popular these days, who wants to pay for garbage like this?

We watched it for free.. and I feel ripped off.. cannot imagine someone paying for this.

Pacquiao sold 50,000+ tickets last month.  David Haye packed a building earlier today.  There are awesome crowds and awesome fights all the time.  Don't just come here during this ridiculous fight and spout your nonsense.  Everyone knew this fight was a joke, except the two people fighting.  And you, apparently.

So true, anyone could have come in BEFORE the fight and said this, but fact is this was a stinker in the making.

Dan Rafael was on ESPN Friday Night Fights, he said he was the only one there covering it (because he has to).

Boxing has great fights, this wasn't one of them, on paper it wasn't either. Hopefully Roy Jones can hang up the gloves now, and by the way Hopkins reacted tonight and his post fight interview, doesn't seem like he intends to fight anymore either.

I think he got what he wanted a "W" against Roy albeit 17 years later.

Well said. I was at the Paq fight and it was insane. There are PLENTY of possible marquis matchups out there that would generate a ton of excitement.

2 senior citizens going at it doesn't represent the sport.

People never learn that Hopkins is a used car sales man when it comes to hyping fights all the action he promises never comes to fruition.
