I think people are really underestimating Berto here and putting too much into Mosleys victory over the walking punching bag in Margarito..
Lets look at this real quick..

Berto is a young lion. Lighting handspeed, decent pop and has very young legs.. Bertos weakness is he cant fight in the inside at all, thats why Collazo was successful as he is a good inside fighter. But on the outside Berto is a beast. Great jab, goes to the body and throws combinations.. He also showed he can box and move around vs Urango..

Berto is an excellent fighter...

Now lets look at Mosley..

Mosley is coming off a year lay off fighting a young quick handed beast in Berto.. Mosley is pushing 39 and hasnt fought in a year. Who's to say he wont get old overnight like he did vs a few other fighters (Cruz, Estrada, Mayargo, Vargas 1st fight) he looked like poop..
Mosleys defense is also atrocious, Mayorga and Cotto couldnt miss Mosley... Another thing, Mosley doesnt really throw combos any more, he flicks the jab and throws the right and occasionally goes to the body..

I think Berto will outbox Mosley to a decision.. The longer the fight goes, the better for Berto.. I can see Berto winning the outside battle by throwing and then clinching before Mosley can get off...

But good luck to everyone.. Im loving Berto in this spot...
He's hungry, has youth, blazing speed and physically gifted..

dodger I completely disagree. Berto is seriously over rated. If Sugar hasn&#x27;t aged quickly (remember he looked horrible against Mayorga) then I can&#x27;t see how Berto wins this fight. Motivation won&#x27;t be a problem either as their will be 2 belts on the line and a potential super fight after that. Shane is simply better then Berto. If Sugar is at his best this will be a systematic beatdown. I have bet Shane large already and would make this a 4 star play. -230 is an absolute steal..Good luck

"I am just saying I don't rate Berto, maybe the Lacy comparision is harsh but Jeff Lacy was once thought of as the next big thing. Berto is barely above the level of Urango, Collazo, Bradley, Nate Campbell, Diaz, Mallinaggi etc etc etc. He would be at the same level as Ricky Hatton. And I'm sorry if Sugar Shane us even at 75% at his best he wins this EASY!! -230 is a fcuking steal! Take it and thank me later. I have put a MASSIVE wager on this already. It will be the first fight of the new year where I will advise my followers to bet BIG on it. I think they should take the -230. Come fight week this will be closer to -400.. "
