Too early for Darchynian - Arce talk?

I cant wait for this fight. I am a big Darchynian fan , I have only seen Arce a couple of times (he is always on those Chavez Jr PPVs i never get). Isnt he on the "other side" of his career? Its only a couple of lbs but will Vic bring his power with him?

I think he does and wins a great fight in which both guys may be down. I would think it only goes 5 or 6 rounds

I would take Darhynian, not sure of what odds r out there for this one.

I enjoy Vic myself. . . the way he kind of paws out at other fighters, runs them down, and the unorthodox brawler stance with punches coming from different angles. . .  what's not to love?

this should be a entertaining fight as both fighters come to fight. arce is a 12 year pro that fights 3 to 4 times a year just wonder when he's going to hit the wall.

Arce is known more for his bravado and taunting than actual boxing skills. Vic is overall 100X better than ARCE, Vic does jump in and get tagged soometimes and his chin is very suspect. I like Vic by KO, as ARCE is way past his prime, and even in his prime he was never really great but was always a crowd pleaser.

Vic will have trouble staying out of range tonight. The extra 4 1/2 or 5 inches of reach for Jorge will give him problems as it did when he fought Donaire. Arce is a great body puncher as well.  I'll take the guy who uses both hands effectivly vs the one handed VD. Way to much wood to lay with the fav. on this one . Great value on the dog tonight !

My vote is still for Vic by KO, I think this will be a great fight for the fans, no defense for either guy to speak of Vic's suspect chin, has power, and Arce has lots of heart. I hate the way Vic holds his hands so low but from what I've seen of ARCE his best days are past him. Congrats to showtime for giving us a FANS FIGHT!

If you know chavez jr is fighting justin.tv is a good place to view it, there is a spanish channel on direct tv that broadcast it but you have to buy it.

I can't see Arce getting out of the way of anything Vic throws.  I just keep thinking back to the way Vic dismantled Mijares.  That was an awesome performance.  Vic by mid round KO.

Vic did not have to respect Mijares power at all.. although I would agree Arce is pretty easy to hit also. But he can counter with some big punches.
 
I think at this price, the play has to be Arce. I'm on him for a couple units myself.

Arce bothered by left handed opponents & needs to make this a brawl to be successful IMO. An outside fight favors Vic because of his better defense & quicker hands. Different people see different edges in analyzing a match it seems. That's what makes it so interesting.

I just think it's going to be an ugly, ugly night for Arce and his backers.  I hope I'm wrong, because I'm not betting the fight and I'd love to see a good brawl.  I'm saving my money to load up on Rubio in two weeks.

Yo whats good.  Does anybody think that this fight goes the distance?  I really feel that the over 8.5 rounds is a good bet.  Both fighters are good.  Darchinyan is a great fighter but Arce is no bum.  A lot of pride on the line in this fight.  I think they both last past 9 rounds and it may be a war all the way to the distance.

Darchinyan is one of the baddest dudes in boxing.  He looks like a killer in there.

Definitely a vic round but call me crazy I thought that little left hook to the body stunned a Vic a bit when the bell rang.

Lot's of hope for Arce backers now.  Darchinyan did not look good for most of that round.

Arce stumbling around like a drunk in that round.  Do you know if he had trouble making weight for this fight?  He just hasn't looked right for most of this fight.  Also, is Vic's head lumpy, or is his head shaved unevenly?  It's bothering me.
