Weekend Fights 9.17.2010

As I've previously stated, I'm very high on Mora tomorrow.  I have two big parlays where he is the last leg and the payouts are greater than 7 to 1. 

I've made four wagers on tonight's fights:

- Wilbert Uicab (+105) risking 1 to win 1.05.

- Jose Emilio Perea (+145) risking 1 to win 1.45.

- Jose Navarro (-115) risking 2.3 to win 2.

- Anchondo/Hernandez under 5.5 (-125) risking 2.5 to win 2.

I may put together a parlay using Hernandez ITD (-385).  Super chalky, but how can Ancondo last?  Way too small.

I'm on Dapudong with Hernadez ITD. I like the under too, but I figured the ITD bet is a lock so I tossed it in with Dapudong.

I don't know what happens if he doesn't make weight.. how much per pound he has to give up and what that means for his conditioning.

I'm staying away from this one, I would take Mora on Points handicap but him not making weight on a PPV card... makes it a no play.

He weighed in again at 153.6. So he's good. However, his only loss (in the Forrest rematch) had A LOT to do with him having to drop several pounds to make the weight. The plot thickens....

walk, do you know what the deal is with the Perea/Rahimov fight?  I guess there was a really late replacement for Perea?  I googled and couldn't find anything, but he's not fighting. 

Fell through over a weight issue. Rahimov won a SD over the late scrub.

I LOVE the over 5.5 in that fight at even money. Victor has been very cautious in recent fights. He's boxing smarter, but he isn't be aggressive at all.

Slight profit for the night.  Navarro's eye was a mess.  Someone should've stopped that fight.  I was getting frustrated with Hernandez.  Anchondo can't take a punch at all.  If Hernandez would've just thrown jab/right, jab/right, he could've ended this fight in the first round.  He couldn't miss with the right hand, but he was barely throwing them early.

One parlay for tonight:

Baldomir/Alvarez over 8.5 rounds + Ortiz ITD + NOT Escalante ITD.  1 unit pays about 1.25.

Also put small wager on Baldomir at +1000.  That's more a result of 5dimes not having the props up anymore (was really looking for the pts handicap).  I'm probably crazy, but I don't think this fight will be as easy for Canelo as everyone thinks. 

Also, Harris/Ortiz under 5.5.  Pretty big on this. 

I got money on the over but I just put some on Ortiz  ITD just as insurance. I might win both bets. Harris' punch resistance is "caca"
