Williams might not have been fighting too low after all. His frame might not hold that much weight after all. They both look solid.
Cris Arreola..... what a joke. This moron is eating away millions of dollars - literally. He weights in and looks exactly as pathetic as he did last fight, a fight he was gassed and dropped very early. I knew a half decent heavyweight would expose him, I just never thought it would be Jameel freaking McCline. Arreola seems like an awesome guy to have a beer with. The good thing is that you'll be able to do just that at his local bar once his lack of dedication destroys what would have been a promising career.
That is all.

I'm also surprised that Williams via decision is +120. I didn't really get what I wanted for Wink's points line. I wanted 3/1, I get 2.5. I thought Paul would still be -110ish via points and I get +120.
Little parlay I just put in...
Chop via points, +1049, Mantits under 7.5 rounds, +170, 50 to win 1501.

Yeah, you beat me to it. No way in hell are those two going to make it that far. No way.
In my article (post) I thought that they would set Wink at +300. Seems like they wanted to shave some potential loss with the short change on that line. Doesn't sound like much, but it is interesting...

Wink via points shot up to +292, while Williams via points down to even. I think that is because they made a big mistake releasing Williams at +120 via points. It got jumped on quick and settle to where it should have been Wright +300 and Williams -110 for the points props.

David (Chico CA,): Chris how is your weight looking for the fight.
My weight should be in the mid to high 40s. I just like training at home. I'm not a secluded kind of guy, it makes me depressed.
Dave, Ny, Ny: The HW division has a long history of fat, sluggish heavyweights whose appetite at the dinner table was bigger than their hunger for boxing greatness. How are you different?
Nope. I'm probably public enemy No. 1 with that comment. I came in looking like I wasn't even a boxer. We do deserve that criticism. Just because we're heavyweights doesn't mean we have to be sloppy, but there are some of us that just can't lose it.
I'm all over McCline here.

More like mid to high 50's... he probably was 260 prior to the weigh in and tried to save face on the scales.

This has to absolutely be AT LEAST a draw, if Chop didn't win. He won round 8 chasing him around.

You got me thinking about "The Spider" so I called Ed Suarez, a friend from back in the day. He's Silva's manager/interpreter/the owner of Sinister clothing, the bald guy that's always in the ring with him. When I asked him about the fight and how did he think it would go.
He said "We are not that concerned with Leites" but that's all I got out of him. So with that said, I guess good luck to me!

I didn't say I was going to bet against him, but the odds are just way too short for a very good reason. I hope you win, because I'll probably have way too much money tied up on the boxing card to give a shit.
However, I will say this. Leites has such limited striking ability it isn't funny. If Silva stuffs the takedown attempts and keeps him standing for any significant amount of time, it's over very quickly. If Leites can get some early takedowns with time to work the clock, Silva will be in for a very long night. If he is unable to stuff the takedowns at all, he will get completely dominated and will need a late rally to win the fight after being behind on the cards.

Hey Walk,
Got some info from the owner of Top Cat Sports, they took the Arreola/McCline fight off the board because of one of their top odds makers got some added info from one of their connections. Call me crazy but I don't think a multi-million dollar sportsbook would just take a fight off the board unless they had an idea, or at least didn't want to take the chance.
Anyway, I think it's worth my $400 risk either way.

Walk, you can take the anger out with someone else. I stand by my earlier statement McCline is a bum and he WILL get knocked out tonight. Peace Out and good luck all

I don't think Mccline is a BUM at all, he was never a top notch fighter, guess what he still isn't!
My biggest knock on him was he never put effort, he's so large he should use his weight and height. We know mental focus plays a large part in boxing, and seems Mccline was always missing that, sort of like last week with Tory Holt, he's just missing that "winning attitude".
He came out of retirement to floor Sam Peter, Yet Peter got the victory because well where was Mccline going?
These odds are crazy, Arreola has not proven himself and for a out of shape guy to be such a high favorite against a guy who isn't a BUM and has fought the better fighters.
I would say laying a few bucks on Mccline is now a bad idea, such high returns for suck a low risk, how can you not?
This is not a pick, but if you had a great live DOG in a fight Mccline is a live dog for sure!
I think BOTH fights will be better than people think. Arreola and Mccline will be a decent fight, and Winky will FIGHT tonight more than he ever has (maybe giving him more appeal even with a loss).
