I'm not finding an over/under here. Is anyone seeing one? Does anyone think of Lucas as a pure KO puncher with his overall record against world-class opponents? Has he ever faced a guy like Garcia, who can pound guys as they come in. Can't wait for it. Who are you picking?

garcia is in big trouble here, his best shot is to go for broke and get a KO early, because he will be right there to be hit by one of the hardest punchers in the sport. if he cannot take the punch like everyone else, what's his plan b? can he stick and move? no. he's slow and flat footed. lucas by KO.

mathysse could not KO alexandar nor judah, and garcia is a better puncher than either of them so mathysse better pack a lunch because he's in for a long night.

You are correct. They ran the entire fight. A style Garcia is not built to employ. Garcia stands and trades, something not one guy has successfully done against Matthysse yet. To be real, Matthysse would be undefeated if he had Al Haymon behind him the whole time like he does now. He only lost the Judah and Alexader decisions b/c he was a foreign nobody fighting both guys in their hometowns. LMM won both those fights. Not to mention Matthysse has only gotten better since the Alexander, Judah fights. He did something to Lamont Peterson no one has come close to doing.

C'mon guys this fight won't even go four rounds. Garcia has no shot. He can fight a perfect three rounds and get hit by one punch by either hand and it's over. You get hit by Matthysse once and stunned you are not surviving the round. Boxing is about match ups and Garcia couldn't have asked for a worse one.
rzagza you are correct about both fights he lost, complete joke. Unless you are a boxing fan you have no idea how good this guy really is. His power is scary.

This isn't necessarily true because most people see Matthysse's power and already think he's the boogeyman (only real and true boogeyman in boxing right now is GGG).
Some things that concern me about Garcia is that he seems to get hit by anyone and everyone. He really needs to fight a perfect game plan and catch Matthysse with his monster left hook
Some things that concern me about Matthysse is that he believes in his power way too much. He comes in sometimes with his hands down and throws a really wide punch. Sometimes his legs are even off the ground he lunges in to punch. The first punch may be hard but it leaves him open for counters. What happens if he lunges into a left hook? Matthysse does have underrated boxing ability and I don't think he's a mindless brawler.
However, I have this fight with Matthysse as a slight favorite 60/40. So I will be going with Danny Garcia at above 200+. He just finds a way to win and I don't see this going to a decision and think he catches Matthysse with a left hook. I wouldn't be surprised if this fight ends up like Donaire vs Darchinyan (yes I know Matthysse is better than Darchinyan and Donaire is better than Garcia).
Left hook...down goes Matthysse down goes Matthysse
